This premiered on my Birthday, sorry to say that I did not find it until last week. Happy Birthday to me! I am spellbound by the talents both young and old. I encourage the 38 thumbs-downers to record and upload themselves playing a finer performance.
Wow! Elle Davisson is already so talented and self possessed at 13! She is sure to make an impact on the classical musical world. May she never lose that fire and confidence!
It's always such a pleasure to hear Scott play! Technical excellence infused with sensitive musicality warms my heart and encourages me to grab my guitar and practice! Thank you Scott!
i love that there actually are classical guitarists who aren't embarrassed to have a snark up on the head stock. I wish my ear was perfect, but if it were up to me, much of the classical repertoire would wind up being played down in "older neil young needing this down a whole step" range 🙂

Snarks are the best tuners. I have one for each of my guitars
Wonderful performance Scott. Vince Stuck and I always enjoy your expressive musicality. Thanks for being here for all of us!
Beautiful playing by Elle and Jack!!! Thank you 🙏😊👍💕
This concert is a gift to all the world! Elle Davisson is possessed, as a young person, of magnificent talent, performing difficult pieces such as these, which she performs flawlessly.
Congratulations to Elle, she has a big future!, she is great now, such a sensibility!, saludos de México.
so relaxing to hear and just be
Wow. Really loved that first piece Elle performed. So energetic. Very reminiscent of types of music from early Windham Hill. Looking forward to listening to rest of concert.
it is a thrill to see Scott' performance which absolutely is a sooth to the pain of pandemic. His style and being on the stage is always a model for young guys to copy because it looks so beautiful and natural. Hope see you more on the youtube
Thank you, Scott.
Bravo
great!
Very Sweet. Thank you very much Omni Foundation and all the players.

Elle Davisson: what a wonderful technique!! nice.

the Alfonso Montes piece makes me cry 😭
That Wild Mountain Thyme is just gorgeous. Thanks for playing it!
Les Barricades Mysterieuses reminds me of my time in Spain [Euskadi and Galicia] the ancestral homelands
I saw her as a baby girl playing, Amazing
Sublime Scott!
Well done Elle just too start with saudade not an easiest start. Congratulations on creating a nice ambience
I've been watching these masters on this channel for about a week now. They all seem so happy and content.
As ALWAYS . . . a memorable and impressive program . . . congratulations and thanks to the Omni Foundation, certainly not to leave out the two young performers, Elle and Jack, skill and presence for any age and yet . . . so young. Looking for their growing musical influence in years to come.
Loved the performances. Bravo and cheers to all who played in this video. Thank you St Mark's and Omni Foundation!

A real pleasure to hear you play!
Thank you !
Beautiful concert thank you.
i love this music. im glad i discoverd it. beautiful preformance!
Impressive! He was already the most “solid” “classical” guitarist as a USC freshman “welded to his guitar” with zilch pretentiousness a couple years ago and has consistently broadened musically into galactic unknowns.
Beautiful!
I was drawn into the music not only by the sound, but also the sensitivity of dynamics and phrasing from such a young player. Sky is your limit, never let your talent slip away!
Thank you Maestro, you are an inspiration.
Amazing channel! Thank you for presenting such artists! Greetings from Turkey.
Thanks Scott ! Great job on "Campanas" ! I have this piece and forgot about it ! Now I know I gotz to to dig it out again.. Beautiful guitar ! MDem

Tremenda seleccion, me hace añorar los tiempos de mi juventud. Esta era mi musica preferida, ya que yo era un joven con alma vieja.
loved those Alfonso Montes pieces! haven't come across him before, thanks :)
Wondrous ! xxxxxxx
Elle is fabulous!
Bravooo!
Inspiring music throughout. Scott made me practice both tremolo pieces off this
Always a lesson to watch Scott playing.....just incredible!!!!!

The first song sounds SO INCREDIBLY BRAZILIAN ! I'll research more about it.

Roland Dyens 's honored Villa-Lobos with Trois Saudades & Capricornes. Besides, he recorded "Naquele Tempo", album with the arrangements of the Brazilian Master Pixinguinha. PS: Senti que parecia uma Bachianinha, mas foi o seu comentário que me fez buscar mais!

@@leovic2011 The way I felt when I listened to this music was so amazingly familiar... Villa Lobos is fantastic.
I could not play the 'Bells' in that position when I had the pinched nerve, electric ants with razor toes, but at least I could play. Perhaps I should try again, now that I can have the guitar down again on a Dynarest. Beautiful as always. Thanks.
Magnífico!
👏👏👏
Magnificent performance, genius. Thank you, I loved every moment.
Sonoridade fantástica
Wonderful school, I love hearing all of you play. Greetings from Brazil.
25:00 Wow stunning piece

Muy bueno lo de Tennant... Creo que usa cuerdas Savarez Cantiga.
espetaculo de menina, toca muito bem
53:24 wow!!!!
And thank you for your continuing exploration into repertoire which is new and unknown to us.. Scott, please consider what has been long conviction of mine about which I shall Sunday write an essay or article if I ever get around to it, which is the arguably naughty habit of guitarists to tune in front of their public. No other instrumentalist in my experience indulgence themselves quite to the extent guitarists do in assuring themselves or their audiences that their instruments are calibrated exactly as they should be. However, it seems very few have realized that this often steals the glory of the guitar announcing its first notes at the inception of a piece, rather than before it. The guitar's voice should emerge as a new and pristine phenomenon, never heard prior to that moment when the first piece begins its song. Surely there cannot be that much alteration in pitch from the moment the guitarist emerges from backstage and sits down on his or her stool. Even harpists who are notorious for tuning, manage somehow to avoid this rather frustrating habit. And it's up to the teachers my friend, to cultivate new and better habits!
wao...
love when the players are just geniuses lol
At the 26:43 mark. Scott's expression is priceless!
Don't know how kids like Elle and Jack can afford $12,000 guitars. . . But here in Silicon Valley anything is possible. One of my students brought into his lesson a $80,000 Hauser like Segovia played! So I'm not surprised by anything these days. . . . Anyway, great young players. And of course Scott is a great master. We both studied with Pepe Romero. Love the Alfonso Montes pieces. I'm very fond of Venezuelan music.
😊
What brand of guitar support is Scott using here? I can’t see it.
Can anybody tell what size guitar Scott Tennant plays here? Seems like it may be smaller than the standard size but I cannot tell for sure.
Scott Tennant comes out at 15:08
Does anyone know which luthier made that guitar? I really like that unusual rosette.

Check the description of the video. All those informations are given there along with the full list of pieces.
PS. Sometimes I think your 'right-leggedness' guit. is the original way it may have been meant-perceived by the first luthiers, descending from the lute and all....
Elle Davisson!! Nice work!! It is kinda discouraging for old farts like me to see youngsters play so well!

The Force is Strong with this One!
The guitar sounds loud and crisp but I wish I could hear the intros, too soft.
Provo to you and your protege, Scott, from your one time or actually, 2-ton host in New England, along with the entire l a g q.. a couple of extracurricular nuances you might want to share with your charge.. tell her she's allowed to smile now and then, and that as long as the audience is offering her their applause, she should give them her attention, and not be tuning the guitar in preparation for her next piece, so dutifully.
Elle: not only is your playing great but also you look stunningly beautiful with that dress and the flower in your hair.
