Oh absolutely. I've even included that Doorknob of Doom in my Avengers-Verse while adding a Doorknob of Justice that serves as the Doorknob of Doom's other half of a harness for the goddess it was created for.

Amen to that. It felt like a lost season of Justice League Unlimited and the DC equivalent of Jonathan Hickman's Avengers/New Avengers run.

@@TevyaSmolka I'm currently up to Vol. 4 of Scott Snyder's Justice League run (and let me say that I absolutely loved the homage to the Father-Son Kamehameha that was Superman's defeat of the World Forger), meaning I just have one more volume to go in order to finish it. After that, it's just a matter of getting Dark Nights: Metal, Batman/Superman Vol. 1 and Hell Arisen in preparation for Dark Nights: Death Metal to close out my DC collection since I just can't keep up with comics anymore due to lack of space on my bookshelf. Once I finish Jason Aaron's Thor and the saga of The Batman Who Laughs and Perpetua, I'm pretty much done with Marvel and DC.

@@smashmaster521 indeed and same here i loved that moment too because it makes me miss my boy Jonathan samuel Kent superboy being his little 10 year old self and that moment with superman remembering his father Jonathan Kent and his son Jon Kent superboy to defeat the world forager was a really epic moment and made me smile so much because it shows me scott snyder understands superman and his family way more then bendis ever did in his entire run in my opinion.

@@TevyaSmolka Oh yeah, Scott Snyder definitely understands Superman as a character. As for Bendis, while I do think he was a poor choice for Superman and Action Comics, I'm not too bothered by his run because Justice League, DCeased, and Batman/Superman all provide me with other methods of reading Superman. To say nothing of Superman being third place when it comes to DC titles I own the most issues of (second place is Justice League and first place is Batman).

Scott Snyder should write green lantern at some point. Cause they’re both architects.

7:55 I don't see Ares nor Apollo joinning the Legion of Doom since they are not just villains but also greek gods. They wouldn't have any reason to join forces with a mortal like Luthor. I don't think they would even accept take orders from him.

Just gotta say, having only recently discovered this channel based on a random reddit recommendation, you do fantastic work! I've been trying to read a lot of these storylines and your videos really clear up the stuff I'm confused about better than a lot of online synopsis/reviews that I've seen

I am absolutely astonished. Like, really. You actually LIKED not only this run but also Death Metal. In the immortal words of Gia Gunn: "My god! There's room for EVERYONE. Let's just say that!" The best thing I can say about the DCU and especially the League is that the art was good. And the League's roster is actually awesome. Not surprisingly, all of that era was originally going to be the swan song of the DCU as we ever knew it to make way for 5G.

"This run is ridiculous and nonsensical and the characters are badly written, but trust me, it's so much fun!" might be one of the most unconvincing positive reviews I have ever listened to. But having read some of it (Metal, No Justice, and then skipping forward to Justice/Doom War), I will admit that it is quite fun. That said, I would say that the insane amount of things going on and the lack of quality dialogue make it difficult for much of the story to stick with you for very long.

I don't care. I'm a proud Cheetah fan. She is my favorite WW villain.

Cheetah is the only Wonder Woman villain I've had any exposure to. Well, Cheetah and Giganta. Justice League has been my primary method of reading Wonder Woman.

Personally I enjoy Scott Snyder's run on Justice League. It's not better than Grant Morrison's run but still enjoyable. In fact, I think that Drowned arc (minus the Legion of Doom part) could even be adapt in the third Aquaman movie, closing the trilogy with Aquaman fighting against the Sea Gods.

John Romita JR. is a good artist. I really don't get the community's hate-boner for him. Especially with artist like Mikel Janin, Mike Deodato, & Greg Land still working

Yeah hes a great artist.

The Dark Knight series was mostly filler, but it also gives a damn good story for Scarecrow and Mad Hatter. Vol 1 and 4 still suck though

the true problem I have with Scott Snyders I could write a normal story but I rather write something bigger thing is that if everything that happens is the biggest most awesome thing to ever happen, nothing is

I don't blame you. It's a weird stretched out arc. When you add Year of the villain to this. This run is basically DC's Clone Saga.

@@Linklex7 Okay, Scott Snyder's Justice League did start dragging at the end because of Year of the Villain, but I wouldn't call it DC's Clone Saga. Seriously, am I the only one who had an easy time following this run? I'm not even an encyclopedic DC expert, and I had no trouble following and understanding what was going on.

I really think Dark Knights Metal should’ve been what Justice League Rebirth was instead of Aliens attacking every storyline and Future kids that make no sense because it contradicts multiple characters like The Flash and Iris’ future children Dawn and Don but now he has kids with Jessica wtf

3:40 😂 Love the video, but there really isn’t anything wrong with people writing stories to set up for future stories... Even if it’s a little heavy handed it’s always for story cohesion & that’s a good thing. Also Lex switches sides because he finally sees the full power/potential of being evil & what he can ultimately gain from it over trying to turn a new leaf.

Side Note: Do you think Cameron Monaghan as Wally West is a good casting choice and what do you think of the recent "incident" in the Flash community?

FINALLY someone recognizes John is the most boring Lantern

I remember very clearly the thing that made me drop this run was the moon exploded. Just gone, and I already knew no other story would address this. That’s my problem with Scott Snyder stories. The stakes just get so big so fast I can’t care about them.

Please do a video on the ruination of Tim Drake and what should be done with him instead, perhaps a new identitg or persona or name etc.

The Hitch run was completely terrible... not mediocre or okay... it was terrible in terms of story.
