I think it’s lovely that Scott has found another lovely companion. I think Barbara would be pleased that he’s not on his own. The cruelty of dementia means he’d lost Barbara long before she died. Nice to see a postive blossom out of a difficult time.

My mother passed of dementia last year , was fluent in 7 languages, then at the end couldn’t speak but still recognised us it’s the long goodbye I salute these two wish Scott & Tanya all the best for their future,

I’m so very happy for you Scott, also for your lovely lady. She has indeed found a diamond in the lottery of life. You battled and battled for so long and have endured so much sadness. You deserve every happiness my dear man. I hope you remain in your more public life as you have inspired so many with regard to Alzheimer’s. Me included. My son is a research scientist, and after seeing his yaya with this illness wanted to be involved with gene therapy, which could help this dreadful disease, God bless Scott & Tanya ,

My husband had it, and I looked after him on my own for four years, but research usually involves animal experiments , therefore I don't contribute to that..unfortunately will we all go from something.

Never judge when you don't know the story behind it.

I recognise his girlfriend she is an actreess i hope they will be very happy together ❤️

Such a lovely couple…I’m thrilled for them and I’m sure Barbara is too. I lost my wonderful Mum to dementia…such a cruel disease 🥹

Barbara Windsor died in December 2020 she wouldn't have wanted Scott to be alone forever, he only 60 years old.
