It might make the transcription easier if one realized the verse (first ten bars) is in G concert (A for tenor.) It'd save all those accidentals!

If that’s all you got from this and Bird is the standard to which you hold modern saxophone players, you’re bound for a lot of disappointment. It’s about his phrasing, how he plays the notes, not just the speed. How he connects the changes with an incredible feel, creating beautiful melody.
