I love going on hols with you all to Scotland. The scenery is a LOT like the eastern coast of Australia. You could all come over and drive around the thousands of glorious miles of NEW South Wales.

Just like last summer when I took my granddaughter to Blackpool on holiday, this year we are in Scotland. Snap. We did a wonderful Stirling ghost tour last night. The Kelpies yesterday morning, and climbed up through Alva Glen yesterday afternoon. Back to Stirling this morning. I must recommend a visit to The Devil's Porridge museum near Gretna for a stop on your way south again. Brilliant coverage of WW1 munitions and the unpleasant work and changed lives of 30,000 women. Safe travels.

Finally I found the time to get down and watch the vlogs! I had been eagerly waiting for the Scotland vlogs and it bugged me that I couldn’t watch them as they were out, but that also means I have now 3 vlogs ready to watch😌 I already told how your previous Scotland vlogs is how I came across your channel and found this lovely family of yours ❤ so I was looking forward to the new Scotland vlogs, especially as I LOVE Scotland and can’t wait to visit again 😍 seeing Glencoe almost brought tears to my eyes; I drove through that same road way back then when I visited 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿as a teenager. I must say that as much as the drive from Kent is long and must be tiring, I think I would quite enjoy it! Also, can’t get over this loooovely tradition of yours to prepare journey bags of goodies for the girls: I love it; I wish, if I had had kids (which unfortunately I didn’t), I wouldnhave had such a wonderful idea ❤️ the air b&b looks cosy and lovely. I love your car trips and travel. I also love your girl’s travel bags. They are always so special. I remember packing bags for my children with car toys. I dislike McDonald’s also. But I really like an egg biscuit from Hardee’s. Not sure you have those, probably not.

After seeing your kitchen again after your holiday was a treat. It's so nice to come home to your own bed and water ! Loving the hob and area around it so innovative for that cutlery drawer. Fantastic, compliments to the chap whom fitted it. He must be years doing it. Looks so country.

Ahhhh Scotland ❤!! I used to drive all through the night to get to Camusteel (Applecross) from Warwick after work but it was so worth it arriving as the sun was rising over the mountains. Nothing like it. So happy you were able to go for your holiday this year! Xo

Scotland is beautiful , I have driven through where you went when I was over there and loved seeing the mountains and yes filming them just doesn’t compare to actually seeing them …. The house is beautiful that you are staying in and nice with all the trees around you , can’t wait too see you walking around the area where the house is , and seeing you go in and around Inverness which I loved Inverness and being around lochness I put my hand in the water of lochness 📚💞📚

Ali! Thank you so very much! The last time I was in Scotland, in 1997, I missed getting a picture of the "Welcome to Scotland" sign. I've been sad about it ever since. But now, at 1942 on your camera, I was able to clip/save & print the photo I've been missing and wanting all these years, with your permission, of course. Aw thanks Nancy! My mum used to put bags together for us when we traveled up to Scotland on the train and I remember how much I loved that, so have done the same for my girls. I love that they get excited even though they’re too grown up and cool now 😉

Next year you'll need to make room in your car for me because it's all so green and beautiful! If I travel 500 miles or 9 hours from my home I just end up in Florida which isn't nearly as green and beautiful and traveling isn't anywhere near as fun as traveling with your group looks to be!

Lovely! I'm on the east coast about 2 hours away from where you were, and can recommend "the Moray Riviera" (Lossiemouth up to Findhorn) for a paddle boarding holiday another year - lots of lovely beaches and bays.

Looks wonderful and the house is gorgeous. A real home from home. And a private beach, too! Wowser. Can you bbq on it? Wonderful place to watch the sunset wrapped in a cosy blanket with some hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows :) Last time I was in Scotland we stayed in Gairloch. A bit up from you there on the west coast. My father was born in Glasgow but raised in Dunoon and I love the west coast. And there is something truly magical about Glencoe. It always makes me feel like I have travelled back to a Prehistoric era. Really looking forward to the rest of your Scotland vlog. I am travelling vicariously through your trip as I am so immobile myself atm. Hope your chicken girlie got better quickly. How miserable for her and horrible timing for you needing to leave her when she's so poorly. Thank goodness for your kind and capable absolute star of a neighbour. Thank you for sharing some of your beautiful and special memories. I really appreciate watching them. I miss having my family and they warm my heart and somehow feel a bit like a cuddle x

Hope you have an amazing time in Scotland! Just as a tip for future. Scotland doesn't have the same Sunday laws as England does so always worth looking ahead as its not mandated for shops to shut at 4pm in Scotland so sometimes you can find them open later on. ❤

What a lovely place to vacation in! And the landscape is stunning. When I was visiting Scotland, our Highland-Coo-Tour Guide told us that there is actually only one (1) Lake in Scotland. Which is the Lake of Menteith. 30 000 Lochs, and only 1 Lake. :) Have a wonderful vacation, I can't wait to see more! Slainté!

@ThisLittleWonderfulLife it's a great body of water for paddle boarding. You can paddle over to the abandoned priory on the island in the middle of the lake.

How lovely ❤ 13 years ago I discovered (at the age of 50) that I have a half-sister who lives in Inverness-shire. She has travelled down south a few times but is now of an age (she’s twenty years older than me) where it’s too far for her. My dream is to get up to Scotland next year to see her again. I’m really looking forward to getting a sneak peek at the countryside. Thank you 😊 xx

Synchronicity, I was reading a mystery book by a UK writer a couple days ago, and the main character drank orange squash a few times. I had to look it up, as I didn't know what it is was exactly, although I could sort of guess. Then it shows in this video.

Hope your having a good holiday, Scotland looks a lovely place. We have just had a chicken who has been unwell and had a reproductive infection and been on antibiotics. She laid two rubber eggs and one lash egg. Our vet said that we are not allowed to eat eggs for 21 days and not to give eggs to others or sell for 30

Sounds the same! Hope she is better now, our Cloud is back to her usual self 😃 She had antibiotics that meant no eggs (from any of our flock) for the duration and 8 days after. We ended up bringing back free range eggs from a local farm in Scotland 😅

Yes there’s definitely midges, particularly after rain - which we didn’t get much of so it wasn’t too bad! We’ve had other trips to Scotland when the midges have been really bad though!
