Thank you for a very interesting set of film clips of 2012. This is a good historical record of how some lines looked just before the major electrification work in the central belt that has been undertaken in the five years up to 2019. No doubt the number of freights worked by diesels 'under the wires' will not drop much - as the freight companies prefer to use Class 37s and 66s than electric locos which have to be changed for diesel en route..... but the Grangemouth line has been wired so there should be some use of it by electrically-haled freight now.....
