Rather than seeing acrobatics videos, I truly believe the strength of drone footage lies with these fantastically smooth birds eye view videos of beautiful landscapes that the creator explores. Loved your footage. The Avata 2 is a lot of fun and spectacular. I do wonder about the range, my own cut out at Culzean Country Park, wondering if it's just an interference thing. Then again, I didn't move the height from its default settings which I should have having lost signal. The footage you can capture with this is fantastic otherwise and love the locations you captured. Spectacular.

@@louisdvg it is a tad bit worrying when that sort of thing happens. When you lose connection, does it just automatically return to base for you? It would be reassuring at least if it does, because like the superb footage you captured between the rocky cliffs and over the water, you'd at least wish for it to, or do you require pressing the button? I had wondered because standing on Maybole shore, the drone got as far as Culzean Country Park and seemed to have just lost connection above the trees. Either an interference, but it sounds like even outside of that, so I find that interesting.

Yes, the drone automatically comes back. I always got the connection back when the drone started to climb at the rth altitude.

Nothing unexpected. I lost connection a few times when flying behind rocks or other obstacles. But the drone always went into rth and I was able to take over.
