Thanks so much to everyone who welcomes me so warmly in Scotland, and of course thanks to Visit Scotland [www.visitscotland.com] and Fife Council [www.welcometofife.com] for this wonderful, whirlwind trip!
Here are all the places we went in the video:
Pillars of Hercules for breakfast
Falkland food market, where I picked up some local honey
Ardross Farm Shop for quality bites of all kinds
Bowhouse Market - a "foodie hub" - open once a month (check their website for opening details)
Lindores Abbey Distillery - where there's a record of the oldest whiskey production, dating back to 1412 (!!!!!)
Christopher Trotter's tour of the BEST PLACES TO EAT IN ST. ANDREWS includes:
-Janetta's Gelateria for the ice cream
-Fisher and Donaldson for their fudge donuts
-Minicks Butchery for local Scottish meat and savory pies
-Luvians Bottle Shop for wine and whiskey (high & low prices!)
-Tailend restaurant for fish and chips

So much fun! I've been on a roll binge-watching qkatie's video. Delicious to watch in every way! (Food, fun...and fermentation :)
I grew up near St Andrews and can agree that its weird seeing it on this. However you did an amazing job with this video!
I find it crazy that I’ve been in every single shop that you guys showed in St. Andrews including my favourite to get ice cream at when I go there

My dad's father came from Fife before migrating to Australia. His mother from Edinburgh, I have also had a fascination with Scotland.

My theory is that when you have a great time in a place even when Mother Nature isn't on your side that particular day...it means it's a GREAT spot! Definitely have it on your bucket list :)

Oh yes! Do not have the exact day planned yet though! I have a buddy coming in from the states and when he finalized the trip, then I will be finalizing our time there! Probably will end up staying for a week at least!

There's a lot more to see and do in Fife you missed a lot of places maybe next time visit Dunfermline

You didn’t see the real parts of fife fortunately for you. Visit Links Street in Kirkcaldy and see the infamous “love life, fuck fife” slogan scrawled in spray paint on the walls.
