Lyrics: I follow the Moskva down to Gorky Park Listening to the wind of change An August summer night, soldiers passing by Listening to the wind of change The world is closing in And did you ever think That we could be so close like brothers? The future's in the air, I can feel it everywhere I'm blowing with the wind of change Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away (dream away) In the wind of change Mh-mmh Walking down the street And distant memories are buried in the past forever I follow the Moskva and down to Gorky Park Listening to the wind of change Take me (take me) to the magic of the moment On a glory night (a glory night) Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams (share their dreams) With you and me (with you and me) Take me (take me) to the magic of the moment On a glory night (a glory night) Where the children of tomorrow dream away (dream away) In the wind of change (the wind of change) The wind of change blows straight into the face of time Like a storm wind that will ring the freedom bell for peace of mind Let your balalaika sing what my guitar wants to say (say) Take me (take me) to the magic of the moment On a glory night (a glory night) Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams (share their dreams) With you and me (you and me) Take me (take me) to the magic of the moment On a glory night (a glory night) Where the children of tomorrow dream away (dream away) In the wind of change (the wind of change)

Yes. I played this today, and remembered how excited and hopeful those times were, this song really captured that feeling of a Europe reunited, and the feeling that we would all 'be like brothers' in the world that followed. It is sad to see the negative changes that have occurred after such optimism. I know it's the cycle of life, and human beings are just like that, but it's sad. I wish peace on this messed up world.

I will never forget this song. I was 18 and was heading to Germany as a combat medic in the US Army. The Iraq war (Desert Storm) had just broken out. I was a stupid young country kid fresh out of Fort Sam Houston Medic Training. Kissed my girlfriend of 4 years goodbye, mom and dad, and began to cry. Those two years I suffered the most loss in my life, including that girl who had become my fiancé . This song is the only thing that got me through at times. It still makes me cry. Brings me back to both good and painful memories. Thank God for music.

I am from Austria. That's a little country next to germany. When the "Mauerfall" was broadcasted this was the song they played again and again. Everyone drank to the freedom of the people from Easterngermany. I was just a child, but no one ever forgets something like that.

Quanta saudades traz essa canção... DESABAFO Ano 1995.....

@Tarziu Armanado-Liviu if music is bad and gives a false sense of utopia, then why do we sing in church? The Vatican has a choir. Also if the sabbath guidance was for the Jews, how can it now only exclusively apply to Christians? You are talking about blaming people but what happened to judge lest ye be judged? Last thing, what you said is largely nonsensical but why were you watching and commenting on a music clip if that’s how you feel?

Wind Of Change Scorpions Opções Original Tradução I follow the Moskva Down to Gorky Park Listening to the wind of change An August summer night Soldiers passing by Listening to the wind of change The world is closing in Did you ever think That we could be so close, like brothers The future's in the air I can feel it everywhere Blowing with the wind of change Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away In the wind of change Walking down the street Distant memories Are buried in the past forever I follow the Moskva Down to Gorky Park Listening to the wind of change Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams With you and me Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away In the wind of change The wind of change Blows straight into the face of time Like a stormwind that will ring The freedom bell for peace of mind Let your balalaika sing What my guitar wants to say Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams With you and me Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away In the wind of change
