'Humanity: Hour I' was released on the 14th May 2007 and is the Scorpion’s 16th studio album. It is a concept album based on a story devised by one of the producers, Desmond Child and futurist, Liam Carl. This EPK showcases some of the songs as well as tells the unique story of the album’s inception and recording via interviews with Klaus, Rudolf and Matthias as well as producers Child and James Michael.

This is their best album since Animal Magnetism. I don't understand why fans haven't embraced it in millions of droves. Every song on this thing KILLS. Seriously awesome!
This album will always be very special in my heart. I first heard Humanity in 2008, and then went on to discover more about this band. It was the first rock song I had heard in my life. Before this it was all bollywood. After digging in more about the Scorpions I was utterly shocked to know that the singer was 60 during the recording of this album. I was absolutely fascinated by the Scorpions. I dug all their famous songs - blackout, rock you like a hurricane, big city nights etc. I was blown away by Lovedrive and discovered that the guitar in that song was played by Michael Schenker. Then I heard some tracks by MS and it was a life changing experience for me. Eventually I discovered their best stuff during the Uli Jon Roth era and some amazing albums by UFO. To this day MS and Uli remain my top guitarists. Klaus remains one of my top singers. While listening to some of the Scorpions and UFO albums I got exposed to the world of rock - I devoured led zeppelin, deep purple, blue oyster cult, Jimmy hendrix experience, iron maiden, ozzy Osborne etc. Rock music changed my life literally, and It all started for me after hearing Humanity out of pure accident. Thank you Scorpions for this wonderful album.

Yea, I had been a fan of rock and Scorpions in particular for quite a year by Humanity release, so this album was so much long-awaited. When it came out I was about 18, and literally took a chance to see them live on stage when they first played new songs. Indeed, it was life changing experience. Still yearning for those times.

Humanity: Hour I is the darkest album by Scorpions, love all the songs on this album. To be able to listen to "The Game Of Life" live would be amazing.
The best album since Crazy World, largely underrated by everyone, even the band.

Yeah, it’s a great album, but doesn’t stand up to In Trance and Virgin Killer. The Uli era was the best!!!

You,my friend, have great musical taste.! I'm 54- I grew up my youth, teenage days till present day loving the SCORPIONS . 🤘🤘
The first song I ever learned to play on guitar was Rock You Like a Hurricane. That was 30 + years ago. The Scorpions have stood the test of time and are still going strong making influential and incredible music. I've seen them 5 or 6 times over the years and each time was better than the last. Maybe one day I can meet them. Thanks for staying with us all these years guys.

The top five bands in my favourite list include ... 1) Scorpions 2) Metallica 3) ABBA 4) Dokken 5) - Def Leppard or KISS After 5 - it gets difficult to decide between bands like Megadeth or Duran Duran ... etc ... but Scorpions are unquestionably tops - even though the Metallicats are giving it their best shot.

It's the old school's brother..
An absolute gem of an album that somehow escaped the clutches of the critics who widely ignored it and dismissed it without giving it the time of day, lazy journalism meant I saw many copy and pasted reviews from journos who couldn't be bothered to listen to it themselves. Well more fool them because any seasoned Scorpions fan will tell you this is a goldmine of incredible songs. If this album had been released 10 years later it would have stormed the charts, at least 5 rock solid radio friendly bangers on there as well as its ballads, but its the overall quality of the album, the production, the arrangements, the songwriting is amongst Scorpions finest a real undiscovered classic for any genuine rock fan, so glad I got to see them tour it live, opening the show with Hour 1 is a kick ass moment I'll never forget, down the front right in front of Matthias as he shredded the shit out of his axe, truly mindblowing
