Ditto. Exactly the same - only it's nearly 2yrs for me now since I spoke to my Mother. It's sad, but, I've never been happier after removing the toxicity and repeated patterns of behaviour from my life. Like you, I am a Phoenix. Wishing you every happiness going forward.

It is a strange but intoxicating time. There’s deep hurt. But I have a sense of clarity though that doesn’t stop the tears and the memories.
