To encourage you. I just got out of a toxic work environment. I got a job on the other side of the country, making more money, moving a small amount of my stuff and my car, at my expense. But it was worth it! Stay positive and stay true to yourself

I’ve been managing multiple chronic health conditions for many years that have occasionally debilitated me. I can’t work full time and am just managing school part time, taking out a lot of debt to sustain myself. I’ve been on so many paths and healing modalities I’m losing count, invested so much money and time into them, only to give up when they’re overwhelming or set me back and I don’t see progress. I’ve definitely felt stuck from all of this and have had to give up on being physically unable to do much of what I’ve wished I could do in my life. I’ve also had a lot of emotional blocks. I’m working through these and hoping to really heal some of the root causes of my symptoms by the end of the year. At least if I’m feeling better enough to pursue my dreams, then my life will open up. It’s been a lot of debt and indecision and stuckness, insecurity and hopelessness through all of this.

It was only today I have realised I am absolutely burnt out, I have invested all my time, love & energy into raising my only child- my anxiety is through the roof. I got some bad family news recently, trying to let go of that, I never knew my birth parents , and I started looking into it.. like I suspected my dad was going to be a pos, so despite getting my mom pregnant at 15 , he has 2 other sexual assault charges… like that’s who I though he was anyway… but it’s still horrifying and gross. And my mom, we left a voice message no response, and maybe I’m leaving it there. Anyway, my eventual takeaway from the whole thing was that I was going to have horrible parents regardless 😅😭 But despite that I do continue to lead a generally improving life, just wish my bank account was more full and I think I’ve just been more depressed recently as that whole situation sinks in… but I am really trying The financial thing is so hard for me tho. I’m disabled have to take medications everyday but so far it creates a fixed income situation for now… although given a year ago I was at zero income/ had to do pha etc… I think I’m making good progress 🙂 My heart just needs to calm down a bit, I think if I can manage to go out more, get a side hustle going

You definitely need a side hustle like taxes bookkeeping, a craft, maybe something to be sold during the holidays, a side job that works for you. And look into going back to school and having a professional resume writer help you too maybe.

Of course it can be both. Self fulfilling prophecy is not the same thing as karma. If you believe the world is scary and not trustworthy then you will tend to have experiences that reinforce that belief. Karma is totally different. Karma is that you real what you sow, supposedly. So if you do good things, good things come to you. You can simultaneously see the world as non trustworthy and draw in those experiences while also receiving good things (boons) for the good actions you do. Hopefully this makes sense.
