For about two seconds, until you needed to remove the headset to watch some fucker on youtube be just as lost as you for hours on end.

This isn't a horror game. It's more a...surreal visceral experience. It's definitely unique, and the zero spoon feeding feels like a throwback to old school games before internet walkthroughs and FAQ's. I'm excited to see more.

I can't believe it's been like ten years since I started watchin Brad. First series I ever saw was Silent Hill Downpour and instantly loved your personality. Overall my favorite horror game is probably Dead Space, the atmosphere of a cramped ship, the necromorphs being so frightening, and Isaac just being an average dude instead of like some trained solider just seals the deal.

First series i ever saw was brad playing silent hill 3 remake. Ever since i have been following him.

I don't own an Xbox or a PC capable of playing this, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching this series of walk through videos. What an amazing (yet sick) world the creators have made, I could imagine how intense this must be to play in the dark with the headphones on. Credit to the developers.

Thank you for this comment, I didn't know! I thought when I tried it out at first that THAT one looked bad, and didn't use it with the creature. Although then when the creature is out, our character lugs it around like a bag of potatoes and just leaves it with its arm lodged in the thing! What the hell dude, be a little gentle! I didn't know we were playing as an asshole :/

My all time favorite horror game, that ABSOLUTELY deserves a remaster, is The Suffering. It was the first game I ever played where my actions in the game, truly affected the ending. Simply amazing! Keep up all the amazing work Brad!

I'd say it's a great action game within a horror setting. But not a horror-horror type game. Torque is way too tough to let anything scare him. Then again, you could argue that the game scares the player and not Torque :D Seriously though, - an armed to the teeth badass with superhuman powers who can tear monsters to shreds, making even the Wolverine jealous?...is hardly a horror premise. The sequel had a darker presentation, and thus some of the villains were way more revolting. A realistically art-styled, darker remake of the first part would be AWESOME!

This game is so damn intriguing, I did not expect to hang around for the entire video! Wow! Please do a part 2!

Are you trying to say this game is “worse rated”? because the reviews have actually been mixed for this. Some, such as Skill UP, gave it a Strongly Recommended rating with the caveat that like Death Stranding it is not for everyone and many will hate it and find it frustrating whilst some will love it. But basically, as I said, this is not a worse rated game so I don’t know why you posted that here in this video. Even those who rated it low praised the atmosphere, graphics and sound and sometimes the puzzles. Silent Hill 4 was universally rated poorly by all publications but Brad has said it’s one if his favorite games. It is also one of his best play throughs. Your comment makes more sense for that kind of game.

I will absolutely keep following this series if you keep playing it! in the spirit of Halloween month, this game seems perfect!

same. This game gives me the same vibes as when I first played Halo:CE. I remember crashlanding on the ring and looking up to see the rest of the ring extend from the horizon and tower above me. To me 10yo mind that was such an impressive scenery. This game gives me the same "wow" vibe but mixed with a bit of effed up-ness. I'm sure theres gonna be a point in this game where you walk out of this-what I'm assuming to be a-crashlanded ship and get a magnificient view of the alien world.

This game requires genuine curiosity to explore and tinker to unravel its puzzling mysteries. The puzzles feel rewarding when solved. When I found out how to heal, reload and swap weapons, it made me feel excitement and relief at the same time 😂 Please play this game alone without distractions and allow yourself to be stuck in this world. It’s beautiful in a very unsettling way. Kinda how life is at times.

@MrJuliano14 The appeal is that if you figure it out it means you're actually paying attention and thinking, if the game is made well. I hate these types of games too, but don't be so dumb as to blame it on the developers. If you're bad at them, it's because you're not good at that type of thinking. That, and you're living in a world where nobody stops to think and every answer, true or false, is spoon-fed to you instantly. I'm not terrible at them, but I still don't enjoy them. It's because I'm not particularly smart when I have to slow down. Admit your flaws and accept them, dearest gamer.

@@pleasegoawaydude The appeal is not for attention and thinking that's not what puzzels are for, puzzles are usually just iq testing. The problem is that if you make it too easy you dissapoint, if you make it too hard you frustrate.Thats why I liked many of the Skyrim puzzles, it gave clues to you if you actually payed attention. Not even that puzzles are made with a certain logic behind it if it's just trial and error it sucks. This game has its share of good and bad puzzles

I absolutely love this game. It never shies away from displaying gore in a stomach turning way.

The design of this game is amazing. Im a fan of Alien and Geiger, so this game looks eerily beautiful. Im glad that I already seeing you're continuing the journey. I hope you finish it. My only problem is, you're probably already tired by the end of the game but I wish you explore more. I dont know if there are invisible wall on the open space area,but you usually say something if you cant move forward or whatever. There were so many things that I wish you'd go to and just look in detail lol

While Giger is indeed implied, but his actual style is oftentimes different. On the other hand, take a look at the works of Zdzislaw Beksinski. This game's art style is much more his thing. I even wonder if Beksinski himself took part in creating art concepts for this game.

@@HexenStar i guess i can see that. i knew about giger before looking up beksinski’s work, i think this game looks very much like giger’s alien and creepy architecture more so than beksinski, especially after watching the documentary behind the scenes of giger and all his fallic and v*ginal symbolism in his art.. i do like giger’s art and have drawn a copy of the scene of the alien pilot engineer, the fleshy pipe/tubes style in all the architecture is unsettling

This game is inspired off HR giger the guy who created the Xenomorph. It’s crazy. Ever since I saw the trailer being a big Alien fan I can’t wait experience this with you. Your the best Brad much love 👍🏼

Sooooo Exicted to watch this series. I have been waiting for this game to launch and LOVE your commentary.

My favourite horror games are Prey (2017) and Dead Space, it took me way too many hours to get through Prey because I'm constant expecting mimics to jump out at me in every room enter, so a room that takes 2 minutes to search takes upwatds of 5 minutes because I'm crouching with the Psychoscope on just to make sure there are no mimics and I'm wasting ammo because I'm shooting every coffee cup to make sure it doesn't jump out and grab me when I walk past it. Prey was super stressfull for me and it was actually the first horror game I decided to actually play. Keep doing great work bruv. I really appreciate your content, your gameplays are really enjoyable, and your commentary is quite pleasing to consume.

Been playing this game for a couple hours now. Im enjoying it so far. The puzzles are very unique Im loving the gore and weird art directiion. A game like this is refreshing. Not your usual FPS.

You mentioned dread and that's exactly on point. This is Cosmic Horror, I'm sure of it. I would even go as far, as to suggest Lovecraftian, which is the madness inducing horror, which leaves you questioning your own existence. Dread, I feel, is a bit underrated. It's a tool to bring forth the most terrifying atmosphere.

I used to be pretty big into gaming with my free time. Mostly RPG’s, Horror games and FPS with good campaign modes. I still do from time to time but things change. You know how it be. Just stumbled across this video and I gotta say I’m glad theRadBrad is still at it giving people good content. He was always my go to guy for this type of content. He’s funny and just seemed like the kinda guy I would be homies with. Just wanted to say keep it up brother. To this day, there isn't a horror game that both gave me heart attacks and an incredible amount of joy (while playing with others beside me, never will I try alone) than Outlast ...

You should try Alien isolation, imo I don’t think outlast is scary but what really got me was alien, that game has scared me so much

@@aidanmeisner6646 the crouching simulator 😂 joking aside, Alien Isolation on the hardest difficulty is really a masterpiece for survival horror enthusiast’s. The immersion is top notch especially since the Alien AI learns from your play style and uses that data to stalk you better. Been waiting years for a proper sequel

This shit is from where now?? O_O I figured this was a AA-level studio. A team with, maybe not a huge budget but a decent one still. Didn't expect Serbia. The amount of time and effort and money that had to have gone into creating each and every in game asset here...because this could not have been made with preexisting assets. Not a game this bizarre and original. This all had to be handcrafted.

Brads delivery is always spot on! No matter what genre Brad always delivers! From Hot Wheels to Scorn.....Give me a break! No one else could pull it off!

I’m playing the game while watching this like I’m at 21:08 in your video but in my game I’m playing I’m just two tasks beyond you and I am dying laughing watching you play because our gameplay is IDENTICAL!! Like I swear I said have of the things you said like when the first pod popped I was like “…. What… how is this real” LMAO it’s just so fun watching someone experience the just iron will to figure things out in this game that’s meant to confuse and make you think so hard. That is one aspect I’ve enjoyed about the game because when you finally figured it out it’s Life altering because you’ve put in so much work to make progress LMAO. It just makes the experience so immersive like you just have no idea what to expect and you’re learning as the main character is learning what world we are in.

Awesome video! Loving the atmosphere in this game! My fav horror game is OG Resident Evil 2. So many great memories sitting around with my brothers watching them play, help out with puzzles and play a shooter/survival horror game for the 1st time myself.

funny enough i have always loved the horror that is in the early Dead space game. Feeling like an Engineer who has no formal training with force multipliers, the clunky aim, the levels where the hunter stalks you still give me chills

The art direction in this game is nothing short of spectacular! I wonder if Zdsislaw Beksinski himself consulted the developers, or perhaps even contributed art concepts directly?! Well, be that the case or not - he is definitely there in spirit. And i can only applaud that. It's beyond a mere videogame! But to waste all of this fantastic otherworldly aesthetics on a plodding walking simulator?! Come on now...where is the fun in that... Amnesia: The Dark Descent was far more interactive and did a lot more to pull the player into its world than being just a pretty picture. And for the action part - the original 2004 Prey has successfully shown us how creepy alien ships work more than very well as an action game. That game truly had innovation and creativity written all over it. Including the way it presented puzzles. In a way i feel disappointed, that the game that was hyped up for years - turned out to be far less than any expectation. Essentially bound only to drown itself in dubious mediocrity. But on the other hand, i am also kind of relieved - that i won't have to concern myself with hardware upgrades to accommodate this masterpiece. I won't have to, because it's not. And while i am still curious as to what happens next in the game, - watching a youtube video will perfectly suffice in this case. The next Alien fix is elsewhere.

I don't like horrors, but this game looks aesthetically good. I want a part two=3

Hey Brad, been watching your videos for a few years and you always manage to make a game interesting. Not only that but you truly do make a bad day just that much better. As for my favorite horror, I would have to say Dead Space 2. The reason for that is it was the first horror I ever played and it just stuck with me, not other horror has made me feel as scared as DS2.

Alien: Isolation scariest game for me.. not in terms of overall terror looking back but when I played it when it first came out the atmosphere and ironically the isolation that the game made you feel was intense! Plenty of scarier games have come out since but I think at the time that way up there for me! Always love the videos Brad best channel for gameplay reviews we seem to like similar games so I know if you like it then I will haha!
