I am a skateboarder, and I do respect scooter riders. There are lots of dumb skaters, but we're not all like that. I used to ride scooters and they are pretty challenging, but same with skateboarding, bmx biking ect. We all just need to get along because we're all just doing something we like to do.

Hey I'm a skater and recently started scootering again it's fun to do multiple things and learn fun new tricks I don't under stand tension between scooters and skaters but when it's a little kid on a razor and constantly getting in the way I understand that it happened to me. 2 days ago skate and scoot do what makes u happy.

Fun fact: scootering are easier to learn on than skateboards. I have experience as i was able to tail whip within 2 weeks, it took me over 2 months to learn to kickflip stationary, i am learning barspin at the moment on scooters and one day in i am almost doing it so wish me luck. :)

The #1 reason why scooter kids are hated is because of those little kids that huddle up at a skatepark, give others no space to dontricks and get in the waybwhen all they are doing is riding.

in the beginning stages. when you get past whips, 360s, barspins and pretty much any other entry level “trick” it starts getting more challenging

when i went to some random skate park on a road trip a 30 year old skater did all the exact same things to me, even the shooting with his skateboard

I myself ride scooters. Doing tricks requires skill and muscle memory just like with a skateboard or bike. Those that say scootering is easy either are very skilled and know many tricks or are just tooting their horn and can't actually do tricks and stuff. Well, that's my ops on this. Whatever mechanism with wheels you main is what you love, keep pushing harder everyday. It's all about practice and skill.

Its so true though. We get such a bad rep and skaters do take it into consideration that were all into action sports and the park is a place for those who share that passion to come together.

In my opinion some scooter tricks are hard but I think I can do a tail whip and bunny hop but I can’t other tricks but I also respect the arts of the scooter

I guess the big beef with scooters is they are easy to travel on, not every lil kid could ride with ease all around a skate park on a skateboard, but anyone with any sense of balance can do the basics of moving on a scooter from point "A" to point "B". So skate parks get crazy busy with young kids on scooters, snaking pretty much everybody. Legit scooter riders respect the space and are not looked down upon. The legit scooter rider is not the problem. Tons of lil kids is the problem.

I think what alotta people miss is that, yes, scooters are easier to pick up and start riding. BUT, as with skateboarding, learning to do the Cool Shit (tm) tricks takes time, effort, and skill. Easy to pick up, hard to master. But like, ain't the main point to just have fun? You can have a good time on any wheeled device with the right attitude and some practice

All you really need to do is just say sorry when you snake them and don't give them any reaction if they call you stuff.
