Welcome (back) to my 2021 Scooter Cannonball adventure! I'm dusting off the old ride footage and reprocessing it as "raw" videos without any edits for length or content. There might be some colorful language and a few four-letter fun words in here, so you've been warned! Skip around with the chapter markers below.
I'm editing this series with Davinci Resolve (free version) instead of Adobe Premiere Pro. I've had a LOT of trouble with Premiere lately due to frequent crashes and video corruption. Those problems coupled with Adobe's recent licensing & privacy fiasco have pushed me to seek alternatives. So, I figured this would be a good opportunity to learn Resolve as a potential replacement for Premiere. Let me know if you have any suggestions or notice any problems in the playback or audio/video quality.
(An interesting sidebar about Davince Resolve: it's able to skip through "corrupted" video frames that kill Premiere. So this lets me include footage that was previously deleted!)

🤣 Well, hopefully I will have something in these archives that you haven't seen before. I'm editing this series with Davinci Resolve this time (instead of Adobe Premiere Pro), and it seems to be able to skip through damaged/corrupted video frames better than Premiere. I previously cut big chunks of video because of corruption issues (and for time compression), so this will be a raw take with no cuts. 😉👍 --QM

Yes, we saw a little bit of the park. We moto-camped in Mount Desert campground overnight but didn't have enough time to do any sightseeing. 😉👍 --QM

The forecast models show 6-12" of rain over the next 3 days, so I'm sure we will have localized flooding. We just had a strong band spiral over the Houston area that dropped about 1.5" here in under 30 minutes. 😳 --QM

Quasi...The 360p playback on my end isn't as clear as your other videos. I have to view them that way because of T-Mobile cellular home internet service. I live out in the sticks !

Can you select a higher resolution? I see that it's available in 2160 (4k) on my end. 🤔 --QM

@@QuasiRAW The data stream is limited because of my service. 480p is as high as it will let me view without buffering.
