For the people who are getting angry about Eagan "bending the knee", you should know that he always wanted to have the original animation be fully voice-acted. He just used A.I. because he didn't have the connections and / or money to get people to voice the characters. The backlash he got was absolutely undeserved, but he didn't do this to get the respect of the people who were hating on him. He redubbed the animation because he wanted to, plain and simple.

I said this of the original and I will say this of the re-dub, this is a thing of beauty. Made not just with talent, but a clear love and passion for scooby and fnaf as well as the old school stop motion style of rankin-bass. And the fact the creator went out of their way to re-dub this with actual VAs when they didn’t have to is amazing and shows how much they loved this. I hope I someday get to see a movie in theaters done by Eagan.

I enjoy Scooby Doo and this is great, never saw any problems.

Even if this is re-dubbed understandably, I'm glad you did this out of love of the original Scooby-Doo series. The newly add voice actors did a good in their roles (especially Joey Sourlis in sounding almost close to Frank Welker's version of Fred Jones). I hope more of this fan made Scooby-Doo stuff will be made in the future.

Yeah, I'm not tired of that kids' horror style yet and even expected it here, but this certainly fits way better.

No matter if this is made using Blender 3.5, I still can't help but see how real the stop-motion looks. Even if the intent behind it was to make it look stiffer looking (kinda like Fireman Sam Seasons 1-4). These voice actors have got talent btw!

I'm gonna feel old but this is based off Rankin Bass animation, you'd know their works in those stop-motion Christmas movies. It's perfectly done though, I actually thought they actually used stop motion to animate!

It's a shame that the backlash over the use of ai voices brought the attention away from the incredible craftsmanship of this short film at all, i hope it will get the recognition it deserves now. Thanks for making this!

I shall say it again, this feels like the sort of Tongue and Cheek stuff Fazbera Entertainment would do to discredit the "fake history" behind their franchise and I love it!

The tone and feel is exactly like that of classic Scooby Doo. I recall someone saying on the original video that it feels like it’s set in the FNAF universe; a propaganda piece paid for by the company to hide the truth. Kind of brilliant.

The VA for Shaggy is *really* on point with their impression

I thought the backlash you got for the original version was ridiculous but it says a lot that you re-did your project with VAs to satisfy the people that were upset. You're an honorable artist Eagan 👏. Looking forward to seeing your next project.

I would understand the backlash if it was a big company behind this and they used AI to avoid paying for voice actors, but come on, this is a fan project fueled by passion. I wouldn't be surprised if he made little to no money due to the stupid 3,000 hour required watch time and the 3 video upload within 90 days to become monetized.

I hope he never takes down both, honestly see both you can see he things will look with AI first VA. and yes, its a shame he had to face such stupid backlash, for something that could been handled by the VA in oh so many better ways that wouldn't of made her look like an entitled B**** and yes thats what she was acting like. She could've offered her voice for it a way to show why AI is not better and gained support for the "Strike" but no instead they turned people away.

This project is such a remarkable achievement! The way you captured the style of both Rankin Bass stop motion and Hanna-Barbera original Scooby Doo is SO impressive, but I can also feel your own personal touch to this project. It's a work of love and it shows in every frame. Amazing!

I’m IRL bff’s with the wonderful talent who voiced Daphnie! This was honestly DELIGHTFUL, so faithful to the original scooby doo. Major major kudos to the creator and the voice cast! 💖

I heard about this a while ago, but I decided to wait to watch it until the redub came out. Wow. I’m blown away! I was just expecting it to be a Robot Chicken-style dark parody, but no, this is straight up a classic Scooby Doo episode with stop-motion and FNAF characters. I haven’t watched Scooby since I was in single digits, and this brought back so many memories of it that I had completely forgotten. You nailed it, this is pure, perfect fan service.

The people who saw the original should come back to watch this! This dude is awesome and deserves more attention! 👍🏿🎉

This makes my happiness shoot out of the roof because not only is it FNAF, Scooby Doo, a great stop motion replication via blender, but the story of where it was to now is just great.

Yo, honestly the controversy was way overblown since Day 1 since you're an indie creator. But holy moly whoever was Shaggy's VA needs to get signed NOW. I always live the talent and potential voice actors bring. That's something AI, no matter how advanced, will be able to replicate.

I honestly feel that Grey DeLisle owes the creator of this project an immense apology. Reaching out and requesting the removal of an AI voice impersonation is completely fair. That is her craft, and her concerns about it being replicated over the web for free are 100% founded. But the vicious and vindictive way she went about it was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. This is a small, amateur creator, almost *half* DeLisle's age. They didn't know any better. A woman who has been in the industry for as long as she has should have been far more acquainted with more tasteful and rational means of dealing with these kinds of situations. ... And that's not even getting into how she tried to somehow frame it as sexual assault.

Imo the problem is that many people do not seem to understand that both following ideas can coexist : - using AI voices is always morally wrong in the current state of things and definitely deserves criticism (ik he's a small indie animator but still) - this does not mean death threats and massive harassment are fine Edit : in a world where AI is trained ethically (using the work of consenting artists and paying them for that) it would already be less of a problem to use AI voices, especially for people with no budget or who do not aim to monetize their creation. But we do not live in this world, and AIs are built on art theft

The original backlash was so dumb. Indie projects are the exact audience that benefits most from AI VAs while doing minimal harm to the industry but still great you were able to get some people to voice the characters.

I'm so pleased you got this put together; the voice actors did a great job and you should all be proud of this collaboration. It's sad how this got blown up over the AI but I hope that now people will just focus on the amazing homage of Rankin/Bass stop-motion animation and OP Scooby Doo. You've done a marvelous job capturing the soul of both properties along with FNAF as well! You've taken all these standalone ingredients and combined them into something amazing; like a finely-prepared pizza!

The moment AI should scare you is when the government starts using to. Make people say things they never did. Honestly, I didn't even know they were Ai until I saw it in the credits. But I'm sorry after seeing the original. The AI voices are better, there is only so much you can get from an impressionists, great job. The only time I can recall AI being ethically used and as an actual tool was with the last spiderverse movie. The rest of the time it’s use to replace artists and save on payroll or its marketing by Ai chuds

Not going to lie, for a moment I thought you did this because of the backlash- but I read through some comments, watched the video and realized- *You achieved what you've always wanted to.* Words cannot express how proud of you I am, Eagan. This work of art just became even more beautiful, and the VAs in this are damn near spot on. And try not to worry so much about actors like what's her name (I don't remember and I can't be arsed to look it up). Her actions went too far and she overreacted, because she couldn't seem to understand you weren't being malicious with the AI. I see her side- a LOT of people- not just famous VAs, but people who do work with dubs and series on YT, hell even gaming KZreadrs, are worried, scared and feel threatened by the whole AI concept- and with it evolving like it is- they have every right to be. And the end of the day, my friend- Keep being you, keep doing what you like, and stand your ground to what you believe. Everything will fall into place with time.

Reposted after watching the re-dubbed… it’s VERY obvious that the greatness of this project is found in the passion of the creator. I liked both but the new voice actors did a great job! And so awesome to see artist of all kinds supporting each other to keep these things alive!!!! WOW! This took me back to my Saturday morning childhood days! Perfect project respecting the original! Glad to see that you’ve not given up after the inordinate amount of backlash the original version got you, frankly, it did infinitely more harm to my opinions towards a certain voice actress that I previously respected than what you had done could have possibly done.

Just be glad Eagan didn’t do something bitter such as him starting a vengeful harassment against Grey Griffin. He was smart, mature, and hopefully this feud can end in peace. In the end, no matter what happens, Like Springtrap, Eag always comes back.

I totally agree. Unfortunately, she's been pulling stunts like this for years. She used to argue with children on tumblr back in the day. After I found out, I could never look at her the same way again - or maybe more accurately hear her, haha.

Hope your feeling better man, A.I is not good nor bad but can be used either way and you had no bad intentions with it. Same thing with science and technology overall, technology isn't the problem, its the way that people use it. A lot of people are on your side since a lot of us were not aware if a voice actor is fine with something for not. I hope people mature more as generations go on, a.i is very interesting and I can't wait to see how it will truly affect human lives in the future. Besides all that... I love the overall look you give your videos! Very nostalgic!

the characters fred, daphne, and velma have much more inflection in their voices now. i respect you for taking the time to do this, and also kudos to the people who lent their voices.

Dude, the amount of backlash you got with the A.I voices was unreal. I am sorry you had to deal with that. I didn't even care about the A.I voices when I fist watched it and of all things people took away from this great video, it was the voices. You did an amazing job with this fan project, don't let people try to push you around like they know everything about this new technology. Large corporations have endless resources, Why should we get mad at someone who barely had any?

Hell yeah, I've been looking forward to this! And as expected Eagan You did outstanding work on this redub make no mistake about it! And of course the voice actors did an absolutely marvelous job with their performances!!!

The lipsync was a little off in some scenes, But the voices are still awesome!

I didn't grow up in the 70s but I watched a ton of Boomerang growing up and may I just say this matched all the charm and aesthetic of the original show, all with a clever Rankin and Bass twist! I'm really sorry to hear about the initial backlash you got from your project.

My favorite thing about this is the art style. The character designs look straight out of those Rankin/Bass cartoons.

The sheer dedication you went through to get this redubbed is honestly just admirable. Absolutely amazing work man!

It was perfect. Every last detail. The character reaction animations and the chase scene with the disguises and the hiding under the table switcharoo- it was just like the classic show. Chef’s kiss 🤌

Hey a redub is another excuse to rewatch this master piece

This is absolutely fantastic and the most faithful adaptation of the original show that I've ever seen. I re-watch the shows on a regular basis, and your attention to detail is so meticulous that you can even tell which season this was inspired by. Also major respect for having the class to re-dub this

Honestly while I'm glad you went through with this. You definitely didn't need to as you work was already spectacular. Thank you anyways for all that you've done. Just don't throw yourself for some entitled brats on Twitter.

First off, lemme just say that the backlash you were faced with was greatly undeserved. This was a fanmade tribute project that you made out of appreciation for both series, you weren't part of the threat against VAs at all, and their assumptions about you were obviously wrong. Like you said, you weren't knowledgeable regarding the field of VA hiring. With that in mind, I find it really respectful that you also went out of your way to do a redubbed version with no AI at all!... even if the folks who went all out with the backlash were the most undeserving of it. And I gotta say, I do like it better! The AI voices did sound a bit flat in some deliveries, but these guys did an amazing job as Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Kluger! (even some changed lines as well, interesting) And of course, the other voices are as great as ever! All in all, excellent job! It just sucks that this whole ordeal ended up happening in the middle of it. But hey, at least you now have more ties in the field of VAs.

I love the fact that the song in the chase scene mentioned talking in their sleep before the fnaf movie even came out

This looks really good! I love the little references you threw in, such as shaggy whistling Freddy's song or the "It's me" on the fridge. I thought the use of wool-like texture was really cool! Nice work on all of this!

This is so cute!! I never would have thought of a FNAF/Scooby Doo crossover, but they really work so well together here! You really nailed the Rankin-Bass vibe and I love how this plays out like a Scooby Doo episode: the music, the chase scene, the sound effects, the laugh track, it’s all perfect!

Im not pro Ai but i think its great if you can’t afford anything else or for jokes. Now you got a bunch of eyes on you and you decided to act accordingly by getting voice actors on board. Ai is pretty good for outlining though. You didnt deserve the hate you got initially and im glad it didnt ruin your future.

As a voice actor I appreciate the redub but at the same time the whole thing was blown waaay out of proportion. The whole project is fantastic and didn’t deserve what happened. It’s so goood the VAs did great and it looks so good too
