Wow, wonderful memories of my childhood!! I remember they built this around 2005-06? And I loved it because it wasn't designed to be overly scary for kids. It was actually real fun! Went in it like ten times

They would sometimes turn the lights on if large groups with small kids came through, less spooky that way.

I miss the whole nickelodeon stuff!! It's not as fun with the peanuts!!!!!!!

Kids today don't even know what Charlie Brown is. Scooby Doo is actually still around.

Don't mind me, just making peace with something that scared me back when I was 6.

Brandon Montes I know, but it looks really good for a trackless dark ride.

I remember this ride when it was at my local park Kings Island it was one of my favorite rides to ride as a kid this is a awesome video for me because it brought me backk to those days from when i used to go to the park when i was maybe 5

I miss this ride themed as Scooby Doo

I LOVE SCOOBY DOO AND SCOOBY DOO THEMED RIDES! Like if you do too! I friggin love Scooby Doo (the Scooby Doo where are you ones, not the new day ones) and I'm going to admit it, and I'm...... thirteen as of writing this.

I remember riding this as a kid ;( sad that they changed everything to Peanuts

They used to have this ride at Canada's Wonderland as well. Now it is just a generic haunted house without the Hanna Barbera branding.

WHY they thought it was in ANY WAY a smart idea to remove the Scooby theming on this ride I'll never know. The ride now is AWFUL and not at all kid friendly if you ask me. They have a hoard of skeletons near the end of the ride that you have to shoot at (which make HORRIBLE noises after you shoot each one) then they leave you in the dark next to them for like two minutes while they unload/load the cars ahead of you. I'm 23 and it was creepy even for me! HATE IT! BRING BACK SCOOBY!

Kyoko Kosplay! While I do agree with everything you said, it was Cedar Fair (the company who bought out all the Paramount’s Parks) who couldn’t afford to renew the license for it to stay Scooby Doo (they have exclusive rights to the Peanuts characters) so they had to change it as a result. I’m afraid this will never be back. I miss it too. The last time I went to this park was 2009, the final year for this original theming of the ride. I also remember riding the one at Carowinds when Paramount still owned it back in 03. If you’ve never rode it as Scooby Doo, you won’t mind it too much, but since I did, I’m not fond of the “Boo Blasters” update.

once i went on this with my mom and cousins (us 4 girls) and it got STUCK on 0:24!!! i nearly wet my pants.

It's not meant to entertain YOU. It's meant to entertain children. I can assure you as a child that was the least of my worries and this was by far my favorite ride.

The Movie World Australia version is better
