It's more like an easter egg since the director stated he sometimes would put people's name he knew in real life into the donghua

idk how to express this properly... like after watching both seasons one and two, and coming back to listen to this song... despite me not understanding a single word from this song, i still get this feeling of youthful hope and sorrow... it's so weird, like a bittersweet sentiment. ngl, it honestly makes me choke up and shed a happy tear, i absolutely love this donghua and i cannot wait to watch more of it

I know this is really late but I just wanted to say after watching season 1 and just starting season 2. I loved season 1 cos it showcases all the interesting people on the island and displays sevens kind hearted nature. I dunno, It just felt so wholesome to me and I loved it. Liked literally every character. Even the grannies lol🤣
