MC, I commend you for that effort! My stylist of 15 years does scissors over comb to the skin too! I’ve tried other stylists and barbers and I get told that it’s not possible to cut over scissors to the skin. That’s when I realized most hair professionals are lazy as hell!

The technique is amazing, but I can definitely see why clipper and razor is you preferred method to scissors, my hands/wrists were killing me just watching the video can't imagine what yours felt like after.

I'm a newbie. What is the advantage of doing it this way, as opposed to clippers? Other than to demonstrate shear skills? I get the need to know these skills, but do you really cut a customer off of the street this way?

There are many ways to give a haircut, I am showing here that it can be done without use of clippers. It's also a skill for world competitions.

Not a skin fade. Not a combover. Impressive tho. impressive as walking instead of driving.

problem with this technique,it leaves some lines from scissors hits, I can do all cut like this, may be because the hand not like the machine, but this technique should every barber know it, sadly most barbers work good in machine, but they are weak in scissors over comb, beside machine finish most work of barber in 2 minutes and he trim the front only, Athen he is proud he is finish the hair cut in 5 minutes,

What a shame!!! An otherwise great ASMR video COMPLETELY RUINED BY THE CONSTANT LOUD NOISE OF CLIPPERS, BLOWERS , TALKING , YELLING AND LAUGHING 😆, ETC. in the background! YOU did a great job, but let the video be ruined by not controlling the background noise. What a waste!!!! Try it again in a quiet room!!!
