On the Scion it is very complicated as the space is much more compact than on a Corolla. The passenger motor motines needs to be freed to remove the alternator and later to drop the engine for there to be enough clearance for the water pump to come out as the pulley hits the frame. If you have the patience try it if not I recommend a professional doing this, it is not an easy job but should be easier with this video. Also recommend not doing it in 100 degree weather like I did.
