No modern stage could be packed with more talent than this one... the vocalists, the violinist, the percussionists... all extraordinarily gifted. Close your eyes and Anantha R Krishnan brings Palakkad Raghu back to life in all his glory and even more... one of those wonderful instances where the shishya develops into a greater version of the guru! (In my opinion, only Dandamudi Ramamohan Rao could handle Misra Chapu as intricately as ARK.) Sundarkumar is, as always, absolutely brilliant.

Please listen to Palghat TS Mani Iyer. No thaalam is impossible for him including Misra chapu.

Sankar Raghavan more like Palani Subramaniam pillai as he was also a south paw ( left handed player) .

Anantha RK- scintillating and no two thanis, similar. Genius!!!!..... Sundar - should not be allowed to play kanjira. Only humans are allowed to. Machines should not :)!!! Not sure how he does it!! Plus not sure why does not play the mridangam - the ones on youtube, where he does, are nothing short of unbelievable/spectacular!!

I dont know why u say that, as if there is dearthbof talent now.. but i must say.. even some frontline musicians (who excel in kanakkus) seem to prefer percusssionists dishing out inane thakadhimi thakajanu... And what more.. its always the same. Almost like they agree to not play with or for anyone else.. seems to.be more and more the main-man or main-woman centric..
