A train journey from Mangaluru to Bengaluru in Karnataka during the monsoon season is a must try for anyone who loves train journeys. Meandering through the Western Ghat mountains, the railway line ascends from sea level to more than a 1000 meters above as it reaches Hassan.
While a lot of foreign tourists go on train journeys on popular routes in India, I haven't seen anyone trying this hidden gem of a rail route till date. I wonder why!

The reason why foreign tourists don’t go on this line is maybe it is like a busman’s holiday for them? Assuming you are a Mangalorean, that city has the potential to be a major tourist destination, it has beautiful beaches, air/train/bus/sea connections and a very liberal population Places to see and visit in Managalore are plenty Just a thought and I digress

It looks like shade trees were trimmed back from platform at Kabakputtur so as not to provide cool relief from the sweltering Indian heat.

Mentioned everything in detail in the video. There's no sleeper class in this train. If it's a general question, I cannot answer it here due to the vastness of the topic. Look up different classes of accommodation on Indian Railways on Google.
