Travelling toward Sicily we visited the village of Scilla with its Castle facing the straits of Messina.
The Ferry from Villa S.Giovanni is the easiest and shortest way to cross the Straits. Disembarking in Messina where we took the Motorway to Palermo - We spent thr Night in one "Agriturismo" on the Mounts Nebrodi Regional Park recommended by Friends situated above the Village of Tortorici ( c.a. 1000 mt altitude ) too cold to make the most of the Swimming Pool .
