This would tie into the legend that 6 Templar ships set sail from Scotland to follow the star, Merica. This would have been around 1312, the legend also says they returned some 6-8 years later, but not all.

If you are tired of watching then don’t. I fir one hope they hit a mega find and a great history story.

I watched many eps of this program and came away with respect for these guys and their "never say die" attitude. But, as Cuba Gooding Jnr says, "Show me the money!"

Feel like a billionaire should just put some treasure there for them to discover.

Im not holding my breath...Im sure the network will squeeze out 9-10 more episodes before we actually lay eyes on the Oak Island treasure...lol

Why would anyone hide treasure 200 feet in the ground? It would've taken untold amounts of labor to dig all the tunnels and holes back then! Also, they would surely have planned on coming back at some point to get it! I believe a lot of the tunnels, 'voids' etc. are natural and common to this island. This is an interesting show and the Lagina brothers are surely serious in their endeavors. Personally, I just wonder how much money has been spent with all the labor, equipment, specialized stuff, etc. I would have to ask, "At what point does one cut their losses?" Unless this is being funded by someone else with a boatload of money, I'd have either given up (or) I'd just get some large mining equipment and dig up the whole island at once and either find the 'treasure' or not! A lot of the minor traces of gold and silver found in the water, for example, can easily be found in about any old mining creek in Alaska. It doesn't necessarily mean there's some major treasure down there, in my opinion. I've followed this show a long time and there is a lot of great talent and intelligent people involved here. Personally, I'm getting tired of all the hoopla finding rusty nails all the time. Also, if brackets/hinges, etc., for example that may have been attached to a 'treasure' trunk or something is found, where is the rest of it? Wouldn't it be close by? Verdict is still out for me. One more thought. There's hints that the Ark of the Covenant and other 'religious' artifacts may be buried there. Why? Personally, I believe God either took the Ark back up to heaven when the Jerusalem Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, or it was destroyed. Scripture states that the Glory of God left the temple prior to it's destruction which had been prophesied by Jesus, himselt. I still can't figure out how the costs of all this work is justified by any investors when compared to the lack of return on investment.

There are 100's of man made tunnels in our country and more are being found every day. I watch "Mysteries Of Blind Frog Ranch", at the end of season two , Duane and Chad Ollinger and the geologist found tunnels under the ranch, dressed up in HASMAT suits and were lowered into an 80 ft underground tunnel system that had several entrances to different tunnel systems which were all man made, how do you explain these tunnels? They also found scratch marks on one wall there were 17 scratches, the second line had 12 scratches, and the third line had a dot and six scratches, how does one explain that?

Rick is a reincarnation templer who is fulling his oath with the brother hood...
