I've been watching football since 2008 , so I have somethings to add 1.when a striker takes penalty , he has 99 power and accuracy in it ,always getting the ball in lower corners 2.A defender taking a penalty basically means he'll also have 99 power in it but he'll go straight down the middle or he'll target the camera 3.A midfielder will most likely have 0 power ,but he's able to fake the GK and send him to the other 4. When a winger takes penalty ,the GK is basically destroyed cause they are able to do all the 3 things above ,they also uses paneka technique, And the funny thing is wingers are the players who missed most penalties

what this man found out is that if you are confident at taking penalties you will score penalties

The reason why the clubs that celebrated early after penalties had an advantage of those clubs who didn't, was the rush of adrenaline, and it was very essential while shooting

Eye contact keeps the gk's gaze on the kicker for a few moments, thus making the gk have less time to predict where the placement of the ball will be

we do not need any scientist to study a dumb penalty, we need a coach that put their players practice penalty shoot out on a periodic basis and teach them the only way to excecute the penalty which is hard and to the corners where no goalie would eve be able to catch it does not matter how good he is and we need a goalie clever enough to stand still and wait the ball trayectory instead of guessing so that more chance to catch a bad excecuted penalty thats whats we need physics
