Saying Abdus Salam left serving Pakistan after he was declared non-Muslim, while conventionally removing the equation that Abdus Salam literally refused to accept any other citizenship he was offered so that his noble prize is associated with Pakistan and not the new country of which he gains citizenship of. Even after this he kept on working inside Pakistan, developing universities and colleges and was the first person to introduce Einstein's Theory of Relativity in Pakistani institutions, and had many students all around Pakistan in his centres. It's about time we stop this nonsense of declaring everything on the basis of religion or else we're close to a serious crisis. Avoid people like Qaiser who is earning money of exploiting idiots of his kind of other religious fanatics.

If a certain Scientist who is famous because of his scientific research, drags his own religion in the public sphere, he loses his alibi as someone who is to be commemorated in the name of so called science. You have several scientists from the west who did groundbreaking research and they never dragged their own religious/spiritual thoughts, commemorating them could make some sense, but Abdus Salaam? Draft of Pakistan Resolution 1940 written by Ch Muhammad Zafrullah Khan was unanimously approved by the Muslims on 23rd of March in presence of Quaid e Azam who later on appointed Ch Zafrullah Khan as first FM of Pakistan. Quaid e Azam gave a very clear roadmap for Pakistan through his address to the Constituent Assembly on 11th of August 1947 which was badly betrayed by the coming rulers.
