As someone studying in a field of (medical) science at a prestigious university, watching this video is the first time I have truly had faith in God's existence and his love for us. I felt myself getting close to tearing up (which never happens) when he answered all the questions that were holding me back from being a faithful Christian even though I wanted to have faith so badly for so long. It's crazy how the thing that initially drove me away from Christ is the thing to bring me back into it. This man is great and he definitely changed the course of my life

I've been defending my faith. All you so intelligent atheists say the same boring foolish things. Ya u know bigger words than me. If u were born in America you paid 100s of 1000s of $$$ learning all of this knowledge that I too could of learned. Trust ke. But for what? Tk have an argument with a Christian. Wow what a life! Babies born with terminal cancer. Their time was up before they could even learn about any God or make any type of decisions on their own. They die before developing critical thinking skills. Others are born with diseases that cause them to suffer for years on end. There’s no God involved.

There may be more to the story than one might suspect. Also the term used for "days" in Genesis in biblical Hebrew can mean a literal day, but also eons, or about any span of time. It depends on context. The best argument for literal 24 hour days is that generally (but NOT always) when used in an ordinal way it usually means 24 hour days. If I remember correctly there are at least a couple of occurrences were it means other than that when used in a ordinal way. There are at least two camps among theologians on this issue. It is not cut and dried, and anyone's exegesis is in the end only opinion. Moreover, these details are not critical to the two many personal goals we have as Christians. One is to be saved, and the other is to conform to the likeness of Christ. These questions are interesting, and great fodder for discussion, but in no way should be divisive in the body of Christ.

Martin Luther King jr. Said it first that GOD created science so that science and his Word would go hand in hand. Not for the two to be put up against one another. Science is real just like GOD is real.

@myra jane So you started out asserting that this is god's creation. That's not how this works. Prove god exists first, then you can prove that he made all this. Do I think I magically blossomed here? No. Do you believe god just magically blossomed into existence. Where did god come from? How did everything become perfect? You call this world perfect? Tornadoes, hurricanes, disease, suffering doesn't say 'perfection' to me. I'm at this video because I always want to know what christians think about certain topics. I'm not close minded. Next time ask before assuming. So again, prove to me god created this all instead of simply asserting it. If that's the case, I'll just say that 'universe creating pixies' created the earth. Prove I'm wrong and you're right.

Having faith in God might have caused this, but the fact that your belief in a God makes you happy is bij no means prove for the actual existence of God. JESUS owns you Amen! How much credence do you give all of the other story’s? More importantly, why does your religion instill fear of punishment? My mothers love is unconditional, your God seems to have a different version of it for some reason. I ask genuinely, don’t take it the wrong way.

I used to be agnostic, leaning toward atheism, until I picked up this book called "The Essential Zohar." Blew my mind. Put a lot of things into perspective. Ever since then I kept researching and finding more evidence to connect the pieces. Really, many of the churches simply fail to give REAL education to their members on the truth about God. They mostly give a bunch of half-truths and empty interpretations.

God is revealed through creation. We all know he exists innately. Sin makes us doubt God and reject him. God must grant faith to a person, it cannot be acquired through natural means. Without faith, God’s truth will sound weird to a non-believer. God commands us to spread the gospel with gentleness and perhaps will give the faithless a little faith.

I appreciate his wisdom. My grandpa was my pastor when I was young. He loved the creation story and talked on it often. He told us the 6 days of creation were very long periods of time. He has long been gone but I appreciate Dr. Ross's deep insight as he continues to bring light.

itsatz John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” Keep in mind that Christ is also referred to as “the Lamb of God”, because he laid down his own life for his flock. Being a shepherd is being the protector and caregiver to a flock, the flock is vulnerable and open to danger without the shepherd.

I set off on a sacred journey a year or so ago to find ‘Origins, meaning, morality and destiny’. I ask the Lord God to speak to me and show me. I came across Hugh Ross ( I think our Lord God caused me to stumble across him) Hugh has answered so many of my questions regarding ‘Origins’... the starting place on my sacred journey.

Tim H Well there isn’t any physical evidence but the prophecies that he said many years ago are becoming true. One was that Israel would become a nation again which happened in 1948, and that generation will not come to pass. A biblical generation is 70-80 years which means the latest the rapture will happen is 2021. Before the end times, he said the rain would be held back(Australia fire), people will be more offended, there will be pestilence(Coronavirus), rumors of war(WWIII), locust resulting in famine, and earthquakes happening around the same time. And yes these happen and there have been worse times but it’s the frequency. Also ID2020 is an international tracking system that involves a microchip being inserted.Bill Gates and Rockefeller’s family have been focusing on it to maybe put the vaccine in it.This is possibly going to be the mark of the beast. It prevents you from buying or selling if you don’t have it. Another thing is the Bible said before the end times, people will travel to and fro( which we have in the form of planes), and intelligence will increase greatly. You can choose to believe or not but you’ll know the truth when the rapture happens and people suddenly disappear. And don’t be surprised when you hear the words”depart from me” on judgement day because you were warned.

Definitely buying this book! I thank Jesus for people like this wonderful Dr. Science was meant to compliment our faith, not swallow it.

For some time I found it hard to feel that something so powerful and divine could create such an enormous universe, un-ending. But the more I thought and read and looked into God and his word, I understood that none of this couldn't have been made without something so divine in power and well, a God. It's always terrified me of what there is and what happens after death, where we go, if it's just complete blackness, ect. After really diving in and accepting Jesus Christ and God I know I shouldn't live in fear but live in happiness to know one day I'd be accepted and live in peace.

Well I do believe in a source/Creator/intelligent mind of all things, but you shouldn't base your belief on the fear of death. When you die, you wouldn't even know you are dead, you would just be returning to your initial state(what ever you were before you were born) and no, you wouldn't be seeing blackness.

I Saw Jesus and that makes all the difference. I'm a Sceptic Christian. I search for Evidence for the existence of God for many years. I'm down with Covid-19 in May 2021. I'm fully conscious but my body was extremely weak as I had asphyxiation. I pray to Jesus to let me rest beside him. I saw Jesus Standing at my feet! On Another Ocassion I went to heaven and Jesus hug me in his arms and I saw scores of Angels praising God. Now I know Jesus Lives and forevermore.

It's so amazing that were getting a lot of videos now that shows how science proves the existence of God 🙏🏾❤️

P's I was a very skeptical person, when i was younger i had 2 of my older sisters who were Born Again Christian's i actually was mocking them one afternoon we were at my mother's house and my mom had a friend over Jackie, and I had teamed up making jokes at them telling them that the churches were locked up ect, so it started to get dark outside and I said what if I needed god, now the church is locked just being very sarcastic, my older sister said to me if I needed God then that church door would be open I laughed at her and said let's take a ride I fully expected the church to be locked up it was a weeknight around 8 p.m. so we took a drive about 10 minutes away from my home and when we arrived at a Pentecostal Church, myself and my sister got out of the car went up to the door of the church I pulled on the door and it was locked of course I was laughing there was another set of doors so my sister said let's try them by this time Jackie and everyone else was out of the car my sister pulled on the second set of doors and it opened up. I was like wow ! We entered the church that none of us have ever been into my sister who was from out of town was able to turn the lights on and everything else. I decided to go up to the altar and deal down Jackie and my two sisters join me I begin to pray all of a sudden I heard put your hands up and don't move yes the police were there behind us. I was scared like nothing you could imagine then they put us in handcuffs as they were planning on taking us to jail the pastor of the church arrived because the police I called them he told the police officer someone really needs God I'm not pressing charges I was just here and I personally lock the doors and turned on the alarm the officer said the alarm never sounded the officer stated he seen the lights on an he knew that the church was closed and that's why he thought we were robbing the place. Again the pastor of the church spoke up and said I am not pressing charges someone here needs God, you better believe that Sunday, I decided to go to church with my sisters who by the way were visiting from out of town. I smoke and I drank i was far from perfect. Still i went to the church, I never in a million years would have expected what was to come ? The power of the Holy Ghost came over me it was the greatest High I have ever felt in my life. Needless to say I had quit smoking quit drinking and changed my life for the better.

And isn't it weird that earth has a very suitable environment for us... like it was *designed* specifically for human species? But he also gives glad tidings of paradise, think about it, hell is to save you, if there was no hell than who's gonna punish Hitler, you're afraid of hell because you've done wrong and are afraid to accept it, but God Almighty merciful. You know the beauty of Islam, you don't have to go to a imam or a scholar or a priest to have your sins forgiven, with sincerity and remorse, seek forgivness and Allah will forgive, and I'm not making it up, to a point where the only sin if you die with it and not have seeked the forgiveness of Allah you will be in hell eternally is shirk, and that is associating a partner with Allah, for example christians calling jesus God, but Allah says he will forgive that as well as long as the person repents, seek forgivness.

@James Farley I was raised neutral. I went to church and I learned about the bible. Besides this I learned about science (how the universe works, evolution, ...). And through this neutral way of being raised, and a lot of thinking until into my 20's, I became an atheist. I'm guessing you come from a very religious background. My advice to you: don't just accept everything people tell you. Be open to other explainations. Dare to think in other ways than is being told to you. You're young, all options are still open for you.

As we all know, evening is the setting of the Sun in the West and Morning is the rising of the SUN from the East. So, how can there be evening & morning in the first, 2nd & 3rd Day in Genesis when the SUN is ONLY created on the 4 Day...???..... Fraud in Genesis... Genesis 1:16 So God made the two large lights. He made the brighter light to rule the day and made the smaller light to rule the night. There is ONLY ONE large light in our solar system, i.e. the Sun because the Moon is NOT a light...The Moon does NOT give off light itself; the Moon reflects light from the Sun..... Genesis is false..... Science : Energy CANNOT be created nor destroyed..... Genesis 1...On which day did God create Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Saturn, etc...?......Genesis was written by ancient people who had no knowledge of the solar system and the universe. Genesis is outdated and false.

The value of faith is equal to the value one equates with hope. According to the bible I am sad that you have come to these conclusions due to the lack of true believing Christians in this world whom read but do not hear the voice of God. But faith is simply hope. And it is not a blind path as someone might have falsely told you. Who ever told you such things about a Christians faith is really in jeopardy of true faith. As a true Christian I follow the bible. And the bible doesn't say that faith brings one to any conclusion. Billy God doesn’t want anyone to “promote religion”. Because Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with the Creator, and the Eternal Sacrifice. Ha wants His children to spread the word of the Gospel. To redeem more people to Himself. We are his children, yet some of us choose to blaspheme our own Father. Shameful.

Although I don’t share the same opinion of an old Earth/universe mindset, I do believe he is spot on with his logical findings and emprical evidence of astrophysics. He is an extemely articulate and intelligent authority on Physics. God bless him and his contributions to the church.

According to scripture (Gen 1:16) the sun wasn't even made until creation day 4. Since this is the case, it's likely that since the earth was not spinning on it's axis and encountering a 24 hour day and night from the sun, that what the scripture calls a day isn't a 24 hour period at this point. We know that with the Lord a day is as a thousand years, and vice versa, which suggests that God doesn't always call a "day" 24 hours in time. Maybe, just maybe, it's not a young earth at all.

I used to believe in old earth but I needed more evidence. but as time went by I saw numbers were being charged day after day. there's no any fix number for old earth. they change it almost every day.

Agreed. Most science supports young earth but they have to keep increasing the age of the earth to account for evolution. Planets are still giving off way more energy than they get from the sun. If it were even millions of years old, that would not be the case. The moon slowly moves further from the earth, less than a million years ago, it would have been touching the earth. I don’t understand how the stars prove an old earth. God created the stars and galaxies, fully formed, then brought the light to the earth. If that wasn’t the case, we wouldn’t see their light at all. The universe is expanding faster than the speed of light, so since the galaxies are moving away from us faster than their light can reach us, their light should never reach us. And they are moving away from us from every side, so if we’re not the exact center of the universe, we’re pretty close to it.

God says there will be a new heaven and a new earth this world is temporary this too shall pass

Wanna have a laugh? let's assume there's this man, woman or entity who is eternal, is capable of defying the laws of nature and created the whole thing. Sounds like a good explanation to you? At least we know the 'explosion', as you call it, actually happened. from there on we can pretty much explain how the universe came about and how life originated. It does not require a God. There are still lots of questions left. Filling in the gap with 'God' is very unsatisfying to me. In the early days people did the same thing explaining lightning, rain, the mountains and everything else they did not understand. "God has to exist, otherwise I can't understand it all" does not really make any sense. If the IDEA of a God comforts you, I wish you the best. That might work of course :).

The only value God sees in us is that we're made in His image, we never did anything special in order to be liked by Him, rather we did all the opposite of that. Yet He still loves us regardless, He showed His love to us through dying for our sins, but he now lives and he's waiting for the next soul to be saved. Praise the Lord.
