As far as I understand turbulent and laminar flow. The flow on smooth side is faster and meets the turbulent flow on an angle opposite to what you have shown. Am i right

I was asked about the principal of swinging the ball in my air force interview when I told them I am a fast bowler. I am glad this video has add so much into so much theory which I was not aware about. Nice video sir. Just wanted to know that do the ball weight or how pitch is made come into factor of ball swing. As we have seen red ball swing more than a white ball, and pink ball at night.

Only the weather conditions help to swing the ball. On a day when the temperature is higher the air is slightly lighter as compared to a cold day. This reduction in density of air applies lesser force on the ball, hence lesser swing. The pitch helps in seam movement. That's another important aspect. I shall take that up in some other video.

Thanks. :) Yes! For the first time, they had done this against NZ. Later that year or the next year they had tried the same thing against Pak as well if I am not mistaken. Tendulkar was a big genius when it came to outsmarting the opposition.
