The kneeling deadlift is a bit of a meme…this video is more about the kneeling curls and all the other stuff I talked about after. In my opinion the kneeling curl is money and something I actually will incorporate. The kneeling row is sick to isolate the back before getting to bigger. The kneeling deadlift only seems to beneficial to fire up the CNS before going for a big conventional deadlift. The kneeling shrug however is also money cuz it keeps shit strict

I love your content and style BECAUSE you go outside of the bounds of convention. Most people develop an ego about it: butt cant go off the bench, Trap bar isnt a real deadlift, etc etc. I fell into it for a bit. But NO. Real life doesn't work that way. I've had a list of manual labor jobs. I cant imagine a co-worker having an attitude about how you choose to pickup a couch, refrigerator, a tv. "NO don't go wide grip on the couch." Or "Glutes only". You experiment with all kinds of techniques. And, no surprise, you are stronger than just about everyone. Go figure. So, I've adopted your mindset, I love it, and I make gains. Gotta try this lift you are demonstrating here. For the nerds out there with half their lifting career spent reading a text book, this lift will probably help all kinds of lifts: squat, deadlift, bent over row stability.. Anyways, I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Ive tried these before and the tension on the spinal erectors is un-godly - another variation: from the kneeling position, place one leg over the bar and bend forward from the hips and bury your ribcage into the lead leg - the stretch is in the upper back, from there pull the bar into the thigh and squeeze the upper back muscles. Hold the tension and release then repeat. An excellent way to activate the upper back muscles and pile on the mass.
