kudos to the actress for those quick emotional switches!!! what a great story!
I would think the auditions for the lead role would be quite the challenging gambit, and a blast... Danielle Dallas Roosa did a marvelous performance winning the role.

Her perfectly over-emoting without coming off as ridiculous was amazing.
This had the DNA of Black Mirror

I was thinking the same thing, it reminds me of the chip in the brain episode , it's crazy but not that far fetched as technology is basically there now.

Wasn't she in that episode of black mirror tho? The one where your score basically dictates if you are low middle of high class and she destroyed her best friend wedding and ended up in jail at the end with a zero rating That's her right

@@unicornsquadkennit4314 I think that was the actress from Jurassic World, - Bryce Dallas something - .
This brings back memories of so many job interviews... We need to put on a mask to play a sick charade that even the interviewers know it's a sham. It's exhausting and soul crushing, even more when you know your life depends on it, as this Short clearly portrays. Well done, I congratulate the makers, this is a great tool to denounce the psychological abµse we have to go through to get a job.

Treating the brain as an app will never be a good idea😂 the idea behind the invention had a good intention but....😢anyway it was a great story👍🏻

Beta testing can be really, REALLY, frustrating at times! Enjoyable. 👍
That was quite a tour de force there by Danielle Dallas Roosa going through the wide range of emotions for the character. The story and direction hits home too, reminded me of the apps we have to help us with our moods. Really great short, and love the open end in this case. I must admit too, I found Ms. Roosa quite fetching to watch as our main character.
Such a wonderful actress, able to perform every emotional mood!
Idk who played the lead but beautiful performance. Would loved to see her in more roles.
Whoa! That was quite an ending.
This actress is amazing

Yeh but her character was a poor mom, weak of mind & without fortitude. A bit like the youth of today really !!!!
as many others would say, take my money ! i want one !!
Fantastic acting by the lead actress. She pulled that off like a trooper.
Reminds me of the Star Trek movie when Data couldn't handle his installed emotion chip.
Good performance!
This was fantastic - the lead actress was great!!
Ahhh, I missed this one!!! 📱🤩
Excellent - thoroughly enjoyed this!
Life in our digital age!💯👀😯👍!
That was amazing!!!! We are so near of something similar like This, that it Is unbelievable 😮
That was great😊
The title is bring back flashbacks of Super Troopers 2. Like if you know.
Legend has she laughed till the old age of 95.
WoW. Very well done. Thank You All & Best Regards. See Ya Soon
That already said - don't allow technology to control you..
Really good!!
excellent movie
Omg so good, one more beat at the to mess with me would be perfect!
Only slightly ahead of its time . . . somewhere in the future, NeuroLink 2.0 or something along those lines.
level 10 lofi with appy
Great, as usual.
I want that App. Hey, was that Suzy Salmon?
ok.... OK.... good pacing... believably portrayed... decent acting.... lead was VERY believable.... good time skip injection... KUDOS to the actors especially the lead... Kudos to the team that made this happen... Kudos to the Director.... for what its worth from a nobody..... WELL DONE TO ALL!!!!

Muito bom 😊😂😢😮😅
Who's in line to try out the new brain chip..?
I prefer to go about my day emotionally neutral. I dismiss the upsetting items quickly, and I enjoy a good laugh, but I don't require the humor to carry me or define my emotional state for the day.
*Black Mirror entered the chat.*
DON'T switch to the earpiece.
👏 👏 👏
What's the OST?
This is scary.
At the end I was expecting her homeless on the street stuck in the "Happiness" emotion...
Diversity palooza.
Strangest episode.
I know her character. She doesn’t use an app.

The blood detracted from the scene.
I hate the question "what are your weaknesses "
I love the dimples on the top of her hands.
Reminded me of a Black Mirror episode💯
che sorcona la roscia
As others have said, very Black-Mirror like. The tech-gone-wrong theme has been overdone of late and "APPyness" doesn't break any new ground. Nonetheless, the film works, largely due to the performance by Danielle Dallas Roosa. A demanding role with quick-change emotions that could have easily turned into an over-the-top mess in a less-skilled actress. But Roosa straddles that fine line between dramatic and parody. Well done. The writing by Kathleen Roosa (the lead's sister) is excellent, if a little bland at times, and the direction by Ryan Turner provides a steady hand with minimal exposition and a free-flowing combination of humor, suspense and even horror, if taken to its logical conclusion. Overall, a fine film and a solid achievement for its Turner and both Roosas. 3.3/5
Хорошая актриса. И концепция интересная.

How sad! Another demonstration of device dependence. Too painful to watch.
Slightly interesting idea went nowhere.
Meuh, totally predictable. I lost interest in this after 4'14". I don't have an app to fix that either.
Brilliant. Slipped in a bit of feminism there, but ok.
It seems some fine-tuning is required. I would say a range of emotions set for a predetermined time would be better.
