Love the Tacky for front and rear

Well a quick update: after a few rides I put the Magic Mary back on the front, and felt the rolling resistance was instantly better, but I couldn’t say any less grip. So in hindsight, if you run a MM or Aggesai, stick with them.

Yes ... I've now gone back to an MM upfront and its improved the speed and handling ;) @@jpandriesse3954

i need a new pair, but most are damn expensive. so I usually tend to buy the budget versions or pre season models having being reduced in price.

Look at Specialized tyres… especially the Cannibals, great tyres for good money

I’m probs going to get one of these as my tyre tread is wearing out in the middle quite bad to the point where it’s flat and I don’t wanna risk it, They look good and are they really grippy n firm in the mud.

The grip levels are ok, not sure I'd say they're as sure footed as a Magic Mary though. I've gone back to a MM on the front, and must say its handling better.

Minion is actually a shameless copy of old, lost and longed Michelin Wildgripper DH from 2000. That tyre was with us for only short period of time and desapered. At that time Michelin coldn't find enough demand for so small niche. Maxxis - relative chip and low quaility tyre company (in that time) took, copied and began to sell a copy of that tyre and this is how Maxxis became a famous brand. Still chip and low quality but with an image on steroid. Maxxis is a good example of old polish saying: If you do not have what you like, so you like what you have. So stop saying bullshit. BTW Swalbe was also chip and low quality brand at that times. They just took another way to be famous... by fcus on quality, development, originality, packaging end even environment.

@@sevseptem677 Not sure what you're smoking, but the minions are _actually_ an evolution (or copy, as many would call it) of the classic WTB Velociraptor front and rear specific tires. That Michelin tire you mention has zero resemblance to the minions except being made of rubber and having a round shape.

@@snokefilmmedia really 😎? Just try imagine you don't know everything. When I saw this tyre for first time in Kaprun in 2001 you probably was driving 3 wheels bicycle. Michelin tried to sell few years later chipper, weaker ver. of this tyre, bad tread and compound even worse. Then disappeared for long from dh world. But you know better. WTB is just another copy man. Funny thing was to see Rob Warner in Kaprun with tyre cutter in the hand (like in car race world) cutting tred and making even bigger groove / canals in the middle. Sorry for my language. I'm not as good as you in English.

@@sevseptem677 If you had a clue, you'd know that WTB Velociraptor were released early 1994. The tire you're talking about doesn't even have a remote resemblance to the minions. Never had, never will.
