This man is a legend !!! I remember his battles vs mansell Prost Senna hill Villeneuve hakkinen, montoya alonso... Hamilton who ???

He said in an interview he saw his team mates tires were worn out after that mistake (as teammate got ahead)so he came into the pits as his tires would be the same & took the gamble.

Michael is a true hero of F1! I'm glad that I was able to witness his races throughout the years. His name will forever be remembered as the greatest legend the sport has ever produced. Nobody will ever surpass his achievements. In fact, they've had to change the points system, just to make it easier for drivers to accrue enough points to compete with his statistics.

Mick Psyphon Don't be too cocky... Lewis Hamilton is currently on his way to claim 92 wins in no time. In fact, his amount of wins in 117 are 62 and he needs the next 30 races to surpass MSC's 'unbeatable' feat in 2019 or 2020, then he could be claiming his 8th title in 2021 and his 9th title in 2022 before retiring and I will replace him at Mercedes in 2023! (my 'expectations', so far)

You can't compare era or decade but if you need to. Here is the formula! Absolute numbers mean nothing. You should say Schumacher won 5.35 season worth of race. (91/17) , 17 being the average number of race per season during his time. For some body who starts in F1 now , that's like 120 ! Same goes for everthing. Senna's 65 pole position is about 4 season worth of. ( 16 race a season). In today's f1 that would be the equivalent of like 90 pole position. Then , it's still unclear how you are going to balance the unreliability of 70/80/90s and the 2000s and the super reliability of nowadays. Impossible to compare..............................

Things like that are really rare in todays F1, if not Hamilton or Vettel will win there are drivers like Bottas, Ricciardo, Verstappen or Raikkonen who will catch the victory. The last win of a real underdog I remeber was Maldonado in Spain 2012.

Matt-Eagle i wouldn't say the Williams was an underdog car in 2012, only the drivers didn't bring the results, Senna(Bruno) sucked and Maldonado is too inconsistent to bring good points all year

I absolutely love these videos highlighting the past days of Formula 1, I just wish there was a voice to accompany them instead of having to read subtitles and try to follow the images. I can read perfectly fine, but I feel that would be the next step up in quality for this section of F1's online presence
