Schuko socket (13A) to Blue socket (16A) for Tesla UMC 2

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Charging your Tesla with a regular socket is useful, but very slow - 13 A at 230 V - is about 20 km/h.
Buying a Tesla Blue adaptor you will be able to charge at 16 A, almost 30 km/h!
All you need is buy a new Tesla Blue adaptor, and change your home socket to new one. See in this video how to.

Because nobody does that. You think they wire your light switch before they screw the housing to the stud. Naw bro bro.

Is there a type 2 socket for people with solar who want to leave 13 amp sockets?

I have a BMW i3 with 3 levels of charge but at my age a 7kw system is very expensive but a safer ev socket would be better than my 13 amp wouldn'i

If you didn’t change the fuse and using still a 20amp one, why not just install at a schuko 20amp socket

Schuko is 16A max, 13A continuous. CEE plug is 16A continuous. I even push them to 32A, no issue.

Does not this plug go to 11 kw? Pretty small difference if not.

But UMC2 is only 7,4 kW. I think UMC1 have more power. A wall charger is the right solution. More expensive, of course.
