Six moments musicaux was the first Schubert piece that I learned when I was young. What's the first Schubert’s piece that you’ve learned or listened to in your life? :)

Every time l listen it's almost ethereal . Your in empathy with all you play . To think a few short years ago we would never have shared (or heard ) your passion . And particularly at this most challenging of times you bring us comfort and sanity . Thankyou my friend , Thankyou .

I would love to see you do Schubert’s Impromptus at some point!
0:04 - I. Moderato in C Major 4:09 - II. Andantino in A-flat Major 10:30 - III. Allegro moderato in F Minor Along with the Impromptus, they are among the most frequently played of all Schubert's piano music, and have been recorded many times. No. 3 in F minor has been arranged by Leopold Godowsky and others. It has been said that Schubert was deeply influenced in writing these pieces by the Impromptus, Op. 7, of Jan Václav Voříšek (1822). [1] [1] [2] They were published by Leidesdorf in Vienna in 1828, under the title "Six Momens musicals". The correct French forms are now usually used - moments (instead of momens), and musicaux (instead of musicals). The sixth number was published in 1824 in a Christmas album under the title “Les plaintes d'un troubadour”.

Fantastic

Rachmaninoff's Prelude Op.32 No.10 in B Minor begins similarly to Schubert's Andantino (4:08). I think Rachmaninoff heard this for sure.
