School teaches morality with "On the Road"

When we found out Solomon Schechter School in Westchester County, N.Y., is using "On The Road" stories in their weekly ethics class, we just had to check it out. Steve Hartman drops by to speak with the students.

Because of this we started watching one a day with my 6th graders and they won’t let a day go by without me showing one. It has been a great tradition and taught my students so much about compassion. They wish and ask all the time if he could come visit.

Steve Hartman is a good example for every student in the world because people need a person with extreme positivity and good stories. I’m an english student in Costa Rica, and every week my teacher sends me one story of On the road, and every week i feel so good after watching it. Thank you very much Steve Hartman for motivating and making us believe that the world is a good place to live still.

Good job, Ale! I enjoyed your comment very much, and it is a joy to have you as my student. Do you think that the teacher in the video asks his students to write comments on Steve's OTR videos?

That was really neededi n these times of dramatic depictions of the world's woes. Steve always offers some comfort for these troubled times and in the most gentle and courteous way. Glad I stumbled upon this gentleman.

This segment is several years old but I've been watching that many years too. Your stories are what people want the World to be like, not like the first 10 minutes of the nightly news. Steve Hartman.. you are a Rockstar only you've touched more lives than any Rockstar ever hoped to... I love you Steve Hartman, God bless you. 💝
