My school nurse is probably the best out of everyone’s nurses. If we feel bad, she give us medicine. If we broke something, she would wrap our spot that we broke and call our parents to pick us up. If our parents dont come, we just get to sleep in the nurse’ room until our parents do come. But yes, like all of your school nurses, she does give us ice if we bruise something. But she doesn’t tell us to leave, instead she says: “come back if it keeps hurting ok?” and she’s so nice.

My school nurse be like:if you feel like your gonna hurl come back and ill call your parents but if they dont come sleep there until they come ok if we had a broken limb she would always wrap the spot she would also put a ice pack inside the wrapping to help but most school nurses through pre-k to kindergarten be like here put this paper towel on also LEAVE ok kindergarten nurses be like here you crapped change your pants and underwear bye my nurse also gives us ice if we are bruised when we are feeling bad she gives us medicine

@@katsgiers1888yes we can. Most schools (depending on the schools doc) Can give Tylenol, ibuprofen, naproxen (aleve) , Tums, and Benadryl if having an allergic reaction. Just can’t give any cold medicine.

The nurse at my school is actually really nice. I went to go get ice for my ankle because it was really bothering me that day (hurt to put a ton of pressure on it). She gave me ice and came to check on me after the other students waiting had left. She talked to me and I started crying a bit when I started to explain how much I had been through with my foot. She was really patient and let me stay as long as I needed to ice my foot which was about 20 minutes. Some school nurses are worse than others though. You’re lucky if you have a nice one.

Once I waited an hour waiting for the nurse and she didn't have chair it was a bed I know I could've sat on the bed but I was waiting for her outside of the office and I WAITED AN HOUR FOR HER! And still one of the workers called her or I don't think she would've ever come in the office😂😅

Some elementary school nurses can only give ice bc the school doc won’t let them give pain medicine unfortunately.
They wouldn’t even rap something around my leg they would just say “put a wet paper towel on it”💀

My school nurse is probably the best out of everyone’s nurses. If we feel bad, she give us medicine. If we broke something, she would wrap our spot that we broke and call our parents to pick us up. If our parents dont come, we just get to sleep in the nurse’ room until our parents do come. But yes, like all of your school nurses, she does give us ice if we bruise something. But she doesn’t tell us to leave, instead she says: “come back if it keeps hurting ok?” and she’s so nice.

My school nurse be like:if you feel like your gonna hurl come back and ill call your parents but if they dont come sleep there until they come ok if we had a broken limb she would always wrap the spot she would also put a ice pack inside the wrapping to help but most school nurses through pre-k to kindergarten be like here put this paper towel on also LEAVE ok kindergarten nurses be like here you crapped change your pants and underwear bye my nurse also gives us ice if we are bruised when we are feeling bad she gives us medicine

@@katsgiers1888yes we can. Most schools (depending on the schools doc) Can give Tylenol, ibuprofen, naproxen (aleve) , Tums, and Benadryl if having an allergic reaction. Just can’t give any cold medicine.

The nurse at my school is actually really nice. I went to go get ice for my ankle because it was really bothering me that day (hurt to put a ton of pressure on it). She gave me ice and came to check on me after the other students waiting had left. She talked to me and I started crying a bit when I started to explain how much I had been through with my foot. She was really patient and let me stay as long as I needed to ice my foot which was about 20 minutes. Some school nurses are worse than others though. You’re lucky if you have a nice one.
If that where my nurse she would not ask me what’s wrong and just hand me an ice pack and say “ go back to class”

One time I went to the school nurse and my back was hurting really badly and she was like "well what do you want me to do about it? " I asked her for a heat pack but she just gave me ice and was aggressive about it.
The fact my school nurse actually takes care of us and let’s us stay in the sickbay until we feel well💀
