Latte saying "hello sweetheart" made my day.

My nurse at my last school (I was in 8th grade) was probably the best nurse ever. She always let me stay in her room as long as I wanted, and she let me *get on her phone* just to watch KZread whenever I wanted. Plus she gave me food. But on top of all that she always treated me like her own child when I was sick or in pain. She was a total sweetheart.

MinSeop Leem In grade school I had a 108.1 degree fever and the nurse made me take off my shoes and lay down, she gave me fever medicine and orange juice, she put a blanket on me, she went to go get my jacket and backpack, she called my mom's friend, she checked up on me every 10 minutes and it took almost an hour for my mom's friend to pick me up so she got me some lunch. I never got care like that once I got into middle school. I wish I cherished that time more.

I'm in nursing school right now and i love watching these! 😂💞 i have to say two things! 1st we didnt even have a school nurse, 2nd thats how nurses want to be but in reality we are so busy and tired, we are passive aggressive most of the time 😂😢😅

I remember in primary school, they solved everything with a wet paper towel. You could have broken your leg, and they would of told you to get yourself a good old wet paper towel.

this is the first latte video i’ve ever seen where she uses a green screen it just shows how much she’s grown 🥲

My school didnt even have a nurse. In kindergarten they gave you a wet paper towel, and once elementary started, we finally leveled up to get a cough drop. Broken arm? Cough drop. Heat stroke? Cough drop. Allergic reaction to cough drops? Cough drop. I guess the lesson to be learned is never underestimate the power of cough drops kids.

my school doesn’t allow cough drops: not even the non-medicated kind. and our nurse is terrible she’s always like “i don’t make the rules” but she enforces rules that aren’t supposed to be rigid and only apply to her as the nurse? i told her i’d brought cough drops to school but they weren’t helping so i wanted to go home and she freaked out and made me throw them away even tho they weren’t medicated. oh and my sister once went in bc her skin got all rashy and she thought it might be an allergic reaction, next thing she knows is that the nurse stabbed her with an epipen and called an ambulance. it wasn’t anaphylactic shock and my mom had to rush to the hospital to find out it was nothing. nurse pulled the “not my rules” schtick. not cool.

same, i’m pretty fortunate to have a nice school nurse... if anyone ever has a migraine, feels sick or has a bad headache, she’ll let you take the correct medication and you can lie down on the bed in the room where there’s tons of blankets and stuff, and then she calls your mum for you and makes you some tea if you like tea, or just water

I remember one time in middle school, our gym class was doing the mile run outside on the pavement. I had tripped and gotten some REALLY bad road rash on my knees, elbows and hands. It was bleeding everywhere and I had rocks and dirt all in the wound. I didn’t want to bother my gym teacher, so I limped along for as long as I could before my teacher noticed and sent me to the nurse. When I got there she sat me down and disinfected it with HAND SOAP, NO ANTISEPTIC, she left the rocks IN MY KNEES, put a bandaid on it and sent me back to class. I could barely walk and I had a lot of trouble when my wounds started to heal and scab up with rocks still inside of them because...you know...rocks aren’t supposed to be there. Great stuff, 10/10 :)

in primary school, we didn't even have a nurse. the women behind the desk would give you some ice. then you'd be off to class again. i got a wasp sting one time, and i got a fucking ice pack. i never knew what happened to the wasp sting after that.

Scalp is actually my least favorite word and I cringe whenever I hear it (like the word moist for some people) but whenever Latte says it, somehow it doesn't bother me! Lol

I just recently discovered Latte and it is really cool to see this video of her early stuff in comparison to the new. She went from a green screen to building really beautiful and creative sets. The evolution is fascinating and inspirational. What an artist! Thank you, Latte, for all you do.

i'm seeing all these comments about how bad everyone's school nurses are and i'm just like: oh dang my school has two nurses: the nice one on monday, tuesday, and wednesday, then the bad and rude one on thursday and friday. the nice nurse would give us ice & lotion if we hurt ourselves and let us sit in the office on one of the beds until we felt a bit better. if we were sick, our parents were called for medicine or to come pick us up and we sat in the office in case we felt better later. the rude nurse would be like: "no fever, you can sit here for 10 minutes then go back to class" even if we were in excruciating pain. broken ankle? bag of ice, lotion, gEt bACK TO CLASS

What are ‘bleachers’?

I think the unique thing about Latte is her voice, she doesn't whisper the whole time, but rather speaks in a very soft, yet comfortable voice. Latte, love your videos! Missed you during your hiatus :)

I see the comments saying that their school nurss only give hem ice packs. My school nurse givves students plastic bag of flour. Yes you heard me. Small plastig bags are filled with flour and then tied up and used as and ideal ice pack is used. I never asked to attend this school.

Classes in the morning are 1 hour for me, english, then math, then recess for 15 minutes, then we have french lesson (i live in france) for 1 hour 15 minutes, and then we go eat for lunch. We have then 1 hour and 15 minutes of breaktime- that’s daily then our class row is different

Okay but can we all give huge props to latte cause she clearly puts so much effort into her work and can memorise so much stuff and what she doesn’t remember, she doesn’t make it obviously edited 🙂

Once in elementary school a girl cut her knee and it was bleeding bad so in the office I was dabbing it with a cotton for a second then the school nurse showed up and smacked me and yelled about how I'm gonna get diseases from touching other people's blood but I think the hit did more damage than the girls bloody knee
