    Thanks for posting this video. It's the only one I've seen on KZread and explains all the things to look out for when disassembling of this fine air gun. It prevents blind disassembly and will help a lot when needed. Again, thanks very much!

    This is actually the best quality airsoft gun I’ve seen in a very long time. I have gone through some guns, but this is at the top of just being cool and quality. I went through a WE m721, KWC mac11, the colt anniversary 1911, all broke down on me which upset me again. But after getting this gun I am in awe of its quality and I am in love. Also love how you guys are doing stuff like this detailed tutorial on how to replace a major part, and a relatively easy fix too. Thank you guys so much and I will be looking forward to see what else you guys at Barra are going to make.

    26th October 2021, The World We Live In, eh! Jeeez! Anyways my friend, thankyou for this video, just replaced the seal assembly, was going to bin it and buy some other revolver, there's nothing out there that can match this! Got the rear loading shell's and great revolver for plinking and show! Respect from Scotland ✌️❤️

    My new Barra Schofield #3 just arrived today and it is a beauty. I am looking forward to doing a lot of shooting. Seeing this video makes me wonder if replacing the seal assembly is a common thing. Should I order a couple of replacements, just in case? Also, any ideas on where I can get a holster that will hold this behemoth? Thanks.

  • @barraairguns

    @barraairguns

    That's great to hear David! It's not common if you treat your gun correctly: Don't leave a CO2 loaded in your airgun when you aren't going to shoot and properly lubricate the tip of each cylinder prior to loading. This will give long seal life, and reduce the need for repairs. All real leather holsters designed to fit the original Schofield will work with the CO2 pistol.

  • @barraairguns

    @barraairguns

    3 жыл бұрын

    The cylinder has to be removed. Open the revolver like you are going to load it. Along the top frame, you'll notice 2 pins above the cylinder, where the latch is located. These pins have to be driven out, then the cylinder can be removed. There should be a long slotted screw with a spring running through the center. If so, insert the ejector so it will sit flush with the cylinder. Tighten it in place with the long slotted screw. If the screw is missing, contact customer service for parts and/or additional help. help@barraairguns.com

Afraid its the gunsmith for my repairs lol, costly but better than me having to throw away the gun if l attempted it lol.

    Curious if just replacing seals why was it necessary to replace the entire valve assembly. If the valve is functioning correctly simply remove the valve assembly as you demonstrate but replace the seal at top of assemble which you show in your video and replace the seal at the co2 puncture point then reassemble. Super easy to do without added cost of the entire valve assembly if the original is functioning normal. And remember Always Use Pelgun Oil or Silicon Oil...Never Ever use Pwtrolium based lubricants I'd Does cause Premarure Wear on all moving parts it Will Also Permanently Damage the Seals Forcing a full replacement of the entire co2 Valve as demonstrated in this video which was to be replacing the seals. Did not see how to replace the seal at the co2 canister puncture point

  • @barraairguns

    @barraairguns

    Most people would have a difficult time installing individual seals without it leaking afterwards, so the replacing the entire valve assembly is as close to fool proof as it gets. All seals, including the puncture seal, are replaced when the whole valve assembly is installed.
