I’m going to agree with everyone, this is the best video on tying a buckaroo knot that I’ve seen.
Out of the dozen videos I've watched trying to figure this out, yours is the only one that worked. The view looking down made it easy. Thanks!!!
Excellent! In a world of crappy instructional videos this one is simple, easy to follow, and very enjoyable!
( I am borrowing my daughters youtube page to write a comment ) -- Hello and Thanx for the video . This is actually the best demo I've seen ! Great Job ! It took a while but I just received my very first 100 % Silk 'Wild Rag' to complete my look . I live in an area where you don't see many people dressed in western/cowboy flair -- so I kinda stick out like a sore thumb . ( I volunteer at 2 horse farms - trail guide mostly ) . -- But I swear I was a real cowboy in a past life . A few more years , when all my kids are finished with school and out on their own -- me and the Mrs. will be re-locating to Montana or Wyoming , so I can live out my remaining years on a ranch . -- The one thing I like most about my new Jacquard is that it does keep me from sweating all over . What a great addition and improvement to my lifestyle . Thanx again !!

Taylor McDermott have you made it to the west yet
Thank you! Best “how-to” video for this knot that I’ve seen. The view from above camera angle at the end was what I needed!
Best version. It‘s way easier to remind it with the gun metaphor.
Now that's how you do an instructional video!
Very good and simple! Thanks! Now I have no choice but to buy a wild rag and tie such beautiful knots...
This was by far the best instructional video on how to tie the knot. Thank you!
Very interesting. The buckaroo knot is know as the federalist knot here in southern Brazil. It was worn by gauchos fighting for federalism during the revolutions of the late 1800s and early 1900s. It's my go to knot for social events
Thanks for showing the aerial! First video that has successfully helped me tie a wild rag
We’re now having a wild rag knot off at Hunewill guest ranch - I’m using your technique and my competitor is using the other one from the Californian woman ..
Absolutely fantastic, simple and very helpful video. KZread is full of ‘em and they’re mostly trash - been struggling with this knot. ‘Knot’ anymore. (Sorry not sorry) ;) thanks yall
I watched at least six videos on how to tie the buckaroo knot and this one was the very best. I was about to give up until I saw this one and I love the way he demonstrated with the gun parts!
Finally!!! A knot tutorial that we can follow. Thank you for being such a methodical teacher.
Thanks for the info Peter, best discription I've seen, easy to follow. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for not wearing a hat and obscuring the view! Very helpful. Thank you.
Best demonstration I’ve seen! Thank you.
This is the best wild rag knot tying video I've ever seen, good job.
Those are some nice looking duck boots behind you.
Great demo! Super easy to learn from!
Best video, and easy names for steps to remember
Very good demonstration; I am already doing it with my Schnees wild rag.
I love silk wild rags and neckerchiefs!
Glad we could help, Harley
THE BEST explanation and demonstration!
That's gotta be the clearest example I've ever seen to tie one.
Best tutorial I've seen Thank you!!!
I like the rug his standing on.
Good Job! 🎉
What a great video!
Great job, great video...thanks
Good demonstration!
Darn, I guess the bandana I bought yesterday is too small to pull this off. Gonna have to buy a second one and stitch them together for it :P
Great instructional video!. That's a four square knot though. What city kid renamed it a buckaroo knot?
This is the one. Thanks.
Yay now I can be a cowboy.
Thank you! Finally, a demonstration even an idiot like me can follow.
Thank you.
nice, thank you.
No Problem!
Great video, you make it look so easy!! Bravo! Are there other ways people wear the wild rags?

I use what I believe is a kind of square knot but you can also use a scarf slide like the Boy Scouts use on their scarves. I sometimes use a finger ring as slide.
My daddy never showed me how. Thank you
5 Stars.
YES !!!
Holy shit I did it, it doesn't look like a buckaroo knot but I think I got 80% close!

36”x36”, it’s in the description.
Oh well, try as I might, no instructions can show my hapless self how to tie this knot.
I was doing great until the ear buds got into the scarf. LOL
drop the hammer 😂
I wish I could live in montana and be a cowboy. Do you have any summer internships in exchange for a roof and food? :D
Eazzzzy pezzzzy
