Given it’s designed as a caving dino, I think it’d be pretty cool if it could crouch to get into smaller cave openings that most creatures can’t fit through! Sort of like how the Paleo Giga can crouch to fit through the Tek Cave gate.

Let's go! Btw could you attempt to make a new forgotten fauna dino, like the Yanchungasaurus? I do know it's hard and to make it in a scale which is somewhat close to what it will be in Ark (I think either just shorter or taller than a rex) will be hard and it is a lot to ask for, but I hope you will notice this and actually attempt to make it :)

Been loving these saddle attachments coming out for the new modded creatures. Something ARK truly needs as a thing in the base game. I really need something as simple as a seatbelt attachment so Microraptors knock me out but not off my mount. And that's not enough something as crazy as Athro spit defense or a flat 20% more damage XD

I've used this creature it quite a bit as I liked the idea of something in-between a Megatherium and a Barry. However, I found two things that bugged me too much. The first was the over spawning in both maps. SE in particular the creature infested the entire map breaking other spawns and really overwhelming and destroying all other creatures around it(despite numerous patches since its first release). Second was it's very wonky jump, given jumping is such an important aspect of caving is a very limiting factor IMO for such a specialised creature. Even though I tamed and bred some really good ones, I eventually uninstalled it last week because of these two reasons. Still, I might revisit it in future maps. A very good effort and idea none the less that I appreciate.

love seeing a smaller mod dino like this! personally I think, since the blade slot is on the crest, it could give the M2 attack a bleed effect instead of adding a defense and overall dmg increase? maybe having the shield equipped could cause some agility/speed debuff to make up for the crazy defense. like a much worse turn radius for example. just some thoughts!

Also, Becca, you can farm megalania toxin. It’s the only drop you can get from bred up babies, so if you tame two megalania at any level you can farm that shit like crazy. And then titanoboa aren’t exactly rare, so the bile is really accessible

The acid effect is the same as the reaper acid so I think that the Reaper effect should buff the Monolophosarus

So I've got 2 things to note : if he comes out of the Swamp Cave healthier than a Megatherium, it's also perhaps due to the fact that he has 3 armor pieces, which means he can have a crazy defence (so better defence but less good damage); another thing I was able to test is that the shield cancels the damage inflicted to the rider (in particular the Arthropleura's spit), so I took off my armor in the Swamp Cave...and as a result I don't take any damage from the air in the cave, it's crazy (maybe a bit too much?). So he's really strong, and with his 3 armors you can send a group of them to destroy the Broodmother, they'll take very little damage if their 3 pieces are really good.

It does seem very powerful, maybe if the extra armor pieces were able to break (at least the shield piece) it might be a bit more balanced? I will say I like that it can protect you from the gas damage (though if it can protect from radiation that might be a bit much). It is a specialist, even if a fresh tame with the bile can walk out of the swamp cave with full health it should be noted that caves don’t exactly have a ton of large creatures with high health and damage, its mainly a system of small creatures to overwhelm you and some have unique features to make that easier for everything else (namely arthro armor breaking and spiders to make sure you can’t out maneuver them) I somewhat doubt a mono’s ability to survive very long on carnivore island, or a mountain side with rexs, allos, kentros, a never ending stream of argys, and the occasional giga. I don’t know how good mono will be in the extinction caves especially with the ice and forest caves having some major heavyweights able to both take big damage and bring the own massive damage to the table

Good catch regarding the additional armor, I'm so used to attachments just NOT being a thing that I have forgotten to take that into account. Although that being said, I've still had cases with ~200+ armored Megatheriums still taking a kicking, while in my Swamp Cave demonstration, it was all Primitive pieces, less than 100 armor total. Being immune to the Swamp Cave ambient damage is... something. Definitely something. I wonder if it'll cancel out radiation, too? or status effects in general like Wyvern breaths.

⁠@@moisesakaemo4100by big raptors, do you mean raptors that are white/grey/black/red and have a glowing red aura? If so, those are alphas, and cannot be tamed. And yes, if you remove a mod, any creatures from that mod will disappear, including tamed ones. If you’re new to ark, I recommend playing with only a few mods to start with; a few excellent starter mods are Paleo Ark: Evolution, Awesome Spyglass, Garuga123’s Additions(Deinotherium, Deinosuchus, Brachiosaurus, Archelon, Acrocanthosaurus, and Helicopron), and Arkology
