I don’t think it actually did because their plans for the podcast was almost definitely made before they recorded the FNAF video, but it did accentuate the fact that there’s a lot more energy in the podcast when Schlatt’s recording with them

I think if any of them were missing, there would be a hole (like most, if not all, SDP viewers, I discovered them through Schlatt, but prefer SDP over Schlatt himself now, and watch every SDP episode and re-watch them more than any other channel, whereas I really only watch Schlatt when a new video’s release), but Schlatt’s would be the biggest, which was shown in the last 50 episodes, which were still good and I watched them, but were not as good as when Schlatt was on it, at least until he stopped giving a crap about the podcast and obviously wanted to leave until he did

Was really hoping Apandah would do a schlatt impression for 46 minutes

Its gottten to a point where each charatcer is completely flanderized by the new season 2 writers

Been listening to the pod weekly since around ep. 40. I play a couple of episodes to fall asleep to almost every day and at this point I must've listened to most of them 4-5 times, if not more. I felt a bit sad when schlatt left, but the second season ended up being really fucking good and a bunch of those episodes have become favorites of mine. The news have saddened me once again. This podcast is very dear and near to my heart and I'm going to miss it. But that's okay. At least I'm happy that I have been following for this long. Your guys' reasoning is sound and makes perfect sense, specially since you want to keep the artists and editors employed. My broke ass ain't getting the patron any time soon, but hopefully I'll be able to in the near future. Until then, thanks for everything. I'll be looking forward for the extra video every week. I wish you much success.

i thought this was a bit lol wtf. i've been watching since the 3rd episode in like 2017 when the podcast was still on schlatt's channel, and watching literally every week since they restarted the channel. you can say what you want but i'm not gonna make a patreon account to watch a podcast that's paywalled for no reason after it was already 50% paywalled for the majority of it's runtime. no hate, you can do what you want with your channel but i don't get the comments acting like it's so sad that these tortured poets just really need to make even more money than they already do recording 30 minutes of a podcast once a week.

I liked these podcasts, i've listened to every episode, and i want these guys to be succesful but this is just a downright bad choice in my opinion. Podcasts are largely free, i listen to a lot of podcasts, all of them are longer than this one and free. The 30 minute episodes with the second half paywalled was bad enough, but this is just a poor choice. I'm sure plenty of people will pay for it, but i'm not going to pay money to listen to these on a worse app. There were other options, make a full length podcast, 30 monite bonus only after a full length podcast, get some ads, supplement income by actually posting videos on their own channels. Their failure to capitilize on the pods success more efficiently should not become the fans problem.

I don't think Apandah gets enough love. not just in these videos, just not enough love where ever.

Secondly, what about guests? I personally enjoyed the recordings where guests appeared quite a bit. So if the podcast is going to continue being rather isolated that'd be a major turn off.

They’re actually going to reveal on the next episode on patreon that the podcast will be locked behind another paywall of 500$ a month that you have to mail to them

I actually binged all the podcast episodes and gaming videos over the last two months. Sucks that this is probably the end of me watching the podcasts but the gaming videos are always a blast

@@TT-R08 No, I don’t have much of a life. It’s not even that hard though. All episodes are less than an hour and it helps that I watch everything at 2x speed. I will admit that it seemed like a colossal task at first
