For me, the defining rendition of Schindlers List Chloe has such a unique understanding of this piece. Fabulous bowing, phrasing, sparing use of vibrato plus semi staccato type phrase end notes. Chloe does not wallow in sentimentality with buckets of rubato thrown in rather she let’s the natural dynamics of the piece flow unhindered. Never a dry eye for me. Wonderful

To all the beginner violinists out there,Chloe's bowing is just about perfect in legato using the entire bow to get a seamless sound between the notes(which I think is the key to this piece producing that yearning mournful sound;the notes seem to just flow into each other;of course perfect intonation helps!! Its hard, but practice is the key.You can do it!! Dan.

It’s has such a sad , but at the same soothing and comforting tone . Such a perfect and beautiful piece of music ❤️
She's got tiny hands but still stretched to an incredible 8th or 9th position on the G string and perfectly in tune. That's a really brave thing to do on such a delicate piece in front of 6,000 people. Kudos...and a lovely, colourful, musical performance. Wonderful.

Finger stretching exercise's for years since she first started playing will do it. I'm sure she was told that she has small hands and that shouldn't dissuade her from playing. Desire, persistence does pay off.

I'm a male but have smallish hands. People are amazed at my guitar playing skills. I can stretch as far as people with hands twice the size of mine, when I need to. Where there's a will, there's always a way. I love to play and entertain people as well 🙂

I just came from the video of Maxim Vengerov's Masterclass, when Chloe Hanslip was just 11 years old. Take a look at her now! What a talented and beautiful girl she is!
Bravo bravo bravo!! The most beautiful rendition of this famous piece.
Wonderful

I love the slower paced version (this one), it adds much more feeling into it rather than the short one which makes it feel rushed.
If you can watch that song and not have a tear you have no heart whatsoever
They were so many versions. But she plays it so beautiful, with such more emotion as other. Perfect. Only perfect. Only this version will make tears running over the face...
If you have a beautiful melody and want it played the best it can be,Chloe should be on top of the list to bring out the emotional content. Lovely version of John Williams' gorgeous tune.
I played piano years ago. I attempted to study this music, but it is such a hauntingly magnificent composition that I had to stop because of my emotions. Our family lost two members at the horrendous camp at Auschwitz. I saw the movie only once, and my emotions took over for almost the entire movie.

My favourite version is Nicola Benedetti's, but as a Scot I'm possibly biased
Best interpretation of the violinist that I've heard. The details are so intricate. Very emotional.
This is still my favourite rendition, the pace is slower and allows Chloe’s intonations of such depth of sorrow but also of sweet, soaring, delicate heights of emotion to fill our hearts. Superb Chloe. Thank you.

Absolutely exquisite and, hands down, the most beautifully interpreted I have ever heard. I have listened to many other classical violinists play this but Ms. Hanslip is truly the most riveting and her 1737 Guarneri del Gesu violin is a wonderful partner.

Look very closely at the lady's face while she handles the violin - look very close! Look at her soul! She is not playing the music - she is living it! Everything she has is flowing into that instrument. -- It is a prayer to God! -- old man bob

Dan.

I first found Ms Hanslip in a masterclass with Maxim Vengerov just over 12 years ago. She was a teenager. I thought: "She'll be just an alright violinist". I now see this and it's my favourite version of the great piece. Even better than Perlman's!
I’m practising this and have been watching different versions on KZread. So far it’s the most emotional one.
Ithought this was so beautiful as though she felt every note👏

Absolutely stunning performance from this lady so much emotion in her playing congratulations on a great performance.
Absolutely beautiful💜
A rare performance with the outmost phrasing, dynamics, bowing, vibrato, timing and atmosphere, capturing the refined spirit between pain, sorrow, tragedy and optimism in humanity.
Perfecto!!! La mejor de todas las versiones, sin duda alguna 👏👏👏👏
Heard lots of musicians performs this piece but so few of them makes the violin cries to the tunes, this girl is one of those,, magnifico
This is so beautiful, it really touches my soul!! I have seen different performances of this song. But this really the best one. She really shows the beauty of her calm staps and then her speeding up and finishes it of with pure drama and emotion 🥲
What Williams and these musicians have done with this song has captured not only the movie, obviously, but the un-Godly reality of the pain, misery, and suffering of the victims of the Holocaust itself. With every stroke of the violin and note from their instruments, ...a cry!
Played perfectly! Slow somber and sadly stunning music ! When its played slowly like this its so much better ! Perfect !
Hurts my heart, and the tears flow
Beautiful. The most evocative music I've ever heard. Ms. Henslip plays it as well as Perlman which is pretty amazing.

From her first note and her expression you could feel this was something special. Those lingering moments brought you into the full emotion of the story William's wanted you to experience and feel. Beautiful, sad, poignant and it made me cry at the enormity of the importance and message of this film.
2018 July ?? This Masterpiece , so amazing , no words .

so much heart-aching pain to the point of the desperate moments the survivors had felt that I try to feel at the marvelous piece and play
Wunderschön gespielt !! Emotion pur 👍🙄
This stunning piece of music burrows into the deepest recesses of my emotions like no other.
She really gets the true meaning of the song. It isn't about the notes. Chloe can really play this with tremendous sadness, but I honestly think Itzhak Perlman plays it better.
