In this video, we review what I believe to be one of the top dividend ETFs, SCHD. With a higher than normal dividend yield, exceptional dividend growth, and solid share price appreciation, I Believe SCHD has established itself as the king of dividend ETFs. But I don’t want you to just take my word for it, so in this video, were going to be taking a deep dive into SCHD. We’ll be learning exactly what SCHD is, learning how its performed historically, and even projecting how it will perform in the future.

    Fantastic analysis and clear projection of future growth with this ETF! This style of vid is interesting and would be a good combination with your usual stock analysis vids: analyze the stock as you usually do, and then project dividend payments out over future years.

    You can buy US based ETFs even if you are living in Europe, using options. Buy a call and exercise it and you will be assigned the shares. The downside is that you can only buy in multiples of 100 shares at a time, which is rather expensive. Try searching on reddit, thats where I found this out. Good luck!

    I need help - I have 520k cash, and I need 800$ per month in income, so I basically will be taking out 2400 every quarter and reinvesting the rest into the fund. My goal is to get my monthly income to 2400$. How many years will it take me to get to 2400 per month considering that I will be taking out 800 from the dividends payments?

  • @charlielipthratt7291

    @charlielipthratt7291

    You're already there. 520,000÷75 per share = 6,933 shares 6933 shares × .65 = $4,506 per qtr Or $4,506 x 4 = $18,024 per year. Expect between 5 and 10% increase per year and your budget is met with some growth for inflation. And check out the capital gains tax rate to see if you owe more than 15%. Hopefully, you bought earlier when shares were under $74/ share so you are making even more per year.
