In this video, we review what I believe to be one of the top dividend ETFs, SCHD. With a higher than normal dividend yield, exceptional dividend growth, and solid share price appreciation, I Believe SCHD has established itself as the king of dividend ETFs. But I don’t want you to just take my word for it, so in this video, were going to be taking a deep dive into SCHD. We’ll be learning exactly what SCHD is, learning how its performed historically, and even projecting how it will perform in the future.

SCHD is one of my biggest holdings. An absolute beast of an ETF, especially when paired with Voo or DGRO! Thanks for dropping over on my channel by the ways, hopefully I can grow as big as you in the future!
I am slowly building SCHD into one of the biggest positions in my portfolio.

Fantastic analysis and clear projection of future growth with this ETF! This style of vid is interesting and would be a good combination with your usual stock analysis vids: analyze the stock as you usually do, and then project dividend payments out over future years.

Nice DD, well done.
Great video. Some people that active managers and higher fees means better returns. Wrong…it has proven that the lowest expense ratio is in Index funds or individual stocks. Remember it is the final money in your pocket, NOT active managers (per Warren Buffett).

One ETF (SCHD) investor. My entire portfolio is SCHD. No regrets and I am totally fine slowly compounding. It has performed remarkably in this downturn and cash dividends make this a perfect ETF in my book.

@@Dividendology Growth, solid dividend, dividend growth, low PE, good companies, diversified holdings, low expense ratio, not market cap weighted, solid company (Schwab), only a 100 companies (as opposed to 1,000) chosen through value metrics, makes this exactly what I was doing with individual stocks, but automatic and without worry. Any thoughts on SCHD compared to FDVV? Top 10 holdings are very different between the two but both have similar dividend rates though FDVV is trading below 50% of what SCHD is. Taking both ETFs into consideration is SCHD still the best bet?
Is it wise to hold schd and vti
What would you pair SCHD with if you were in your early 40s (both ETFs in a Roth)? And what would the % breakdown between the two be? Thanks!

Def put it in the Roth IRA. The dividends won’t be taxed and you can compound even more. Maybe pair it with the SPY etf

You can buy US based ETFs even if you are living in Europe, using options. Buy a call and exercise it and you will be assigned the shares. The downside is that you can only buy in multiples of 100 shares at a time, which is rather expensive. Try searching on reddit, thats where I found this out. Good luck!

I need help - I have 520k cash, and I need 800$ per month in income, so I basically will be taking out 2400 every quarter and reinvesting the rest into the fund. My goal is to get my monthly income to 2400$. How many years will it take me to get to 2400 per month considering that I will be taking out 800 from the dividends payments?
@charlielipthratt7291
11 ай бұрын
You're already there. 520,000÷75 per share = 6,933 shares 6933 shares × .65 = $4,506 per qtr Or $4,506 x 4 = $18,024 per year. Expect between 5 and 10% increase per year and your budget is met with some growth for inflation. And check out the capital gains tax rate to see if you owe more than 15%. Hopefully, you bought earlier when shares were under $74/ share so you are making even more per year.

Just a correction. The fee is based on the value of your investments, not the amount that you invest. If you have invested $10,000 but your portfolio is now worth $100,000, you will pay $600, NOT $60.
