Great review, Michelle - very honest. I am going to put this out there, and it’s going to be controversial, I’m sure. I have been having a great deal of trouble with the wax bars I’ve purchased from SCENTSY over the last year at least, and probably longer. When I get the bars, many of them have no smell on cold at all, and even when warmed I get nothing. For example, today I warmed Star Apple & Freesia. There was no scent on cold, and no throw at all once I put it in the warmer (25 watt glass for reference). I received the bar on 08/02/23, and there is no pour date stamped on the clam shell. I had the very same experience with Blue Agave & Melon, Mahalo Coconut, Kukui & Coconut, and several others. Again, this is not something that has just started happening, it’s been an on-going problem for at least the last year. So much so, that I am now looking at other wax companies, and ways to warm wax, in hopes of finding something better. I can no longer justify spending $6.00 a bar when they are not performing. I am very, very disappointed and sad. I have been using SCENTSY products since 2009, and until about a year ago, it seemed to be doing just fine, with just a handfuls of problems here and there. I do hope something changes for the better, and soon. If not, I am prepared to move along and leave SCENTSY behind.

Totally agree. Scentsy has changed something because their wax quality has gone way down as they try to rush to put out all this product. They need to go back to basics

Scentsy cannot get coffee right. I stick o vendor wax for that scent. Thank you for an honest review! Some of the consultants just praise everything as soo good

Aww Michelle, I'm so sorry you got pretty much the same thing I did. I was really hoping it would have worked out better for you seeing as how you got so many bars ☹ I peeled back the label on mine and the pour date is 07/11/2023 so just over a month old. I personally don't feel like cure time is going to help this one too much because the ratios are just way too off. Coffee/Espresso are usually such strong scents right off the hop but I will remain hopeful that you get more out of these bars as time goes on. Thank you so much for your honest review. I don't like to give a negative review either but sometimes it's just unavoidable when you're an honest person and people really appreciate the heads up. It saves them a lot of disappointment and also their hard earned money. On the upside the warmer is fabulous! 😊

I highly doubt cure time will help but I have 5 more bars to make extra sure. And, my husband kinda likes it so that's a positive. LOL Thanks for watching and for the heads up on the wax. 💜

I haven’t noticed much with scents being too light, but overall I like lighter scents. However, I do find it hard to keep up with the amount of LTO myself, plus new catalog scents. It’s exciting, yes, but I can’t usually try them all, and if I do, I’m stuck melting wax I don’t love instead of the scents I do love. Overall, I’m still happy with how Scentsy is going, but I wanted to say that I agree with you there!

Thank you for your review. I wanted to know what the mix of coffee and coconut was like. I guess I won’t order this one. I haven’t tested a lot of Scentsy products yet, but I always thought the scents were « there ». I also noticed that of Bath and Body Works at least the wallflowers plug in. Every one I purchased since the end of summer doesnt really scent 😞 I bought a few for my dad last Spring and he liked it but those at the end if summer same thing… we thought it had something to do with air circulation but no I just found a old wallflower refill from last year and this one packs a punch! I hope those companies get theie quality game back on soon.

Lol the intro. I was tempted by the warmer. It’s so cool. The scent though I’ve heard the same from Brandi. Sad they don’t seem to be making good strong scents. They could of made this a hit. I won’t be getting a bar now. Thank you.

Good review. Appreciate you adding the warm review to this video. It is highly surprising that this one met their approval without more tweaking. They should have at least changed the description. It’s very misleading.

I have stop ordering Scentsy because the quality of their oils have went down hill and they definitely need to go down in price , i love Scentsy but i haven't ordered in awhile and probably won't unless they change for the better!!!!! Tfs :)

Oh Michelle, I cringed when I saw how many bars you ordered. I’m a consultant too and got one bar. Warmed it and total disappointment. I do love the warmer though. I buy other vendor wax myself for coffee scents. I don’t know why Scentsy struggles so much to get a good solid coffee scent.

I LOVE the Friends wax. It may not be “strong coffee” but it is BEAUTIFUL. It filled my whole house and it is just lovely. Coffee Tree was awesome on cold to me but too strong of a “coffee” for my home fragrance on warm. It will go into my Scentsy Club and stay there.

Love the intro 😅 I'm so sorry about the scent! 😢 I was really hoping it was going to be a real coffee winner. This seemed like the perfect time to redeem themselves. I would think they would have people who test new scents & I can only fathom they don't like strong scents. It is funny when so many KZreadr's have the same reaction, why didn't people involved in the scent process through to production? Scooby Doo mystery. I'm glad the warmer didn't disappoint! I think you have every right to express your honest opinion on your channel, regardless if it is negative. You're not setting out to be, but when reviewing something what good would it be if everyone said it is great when it isn't? Anyone that likes every scent...well, you know that isn't possible. The consensus doesn't lie so when the vast majority indicates the same thing, it must be what most others will also experience as well. That's the beauty of different people's opinions, since they all smell differently there will be different variations which is fantastic. I definitely don't think we should have to wait 6 months to confirm if the scent is better. If that time is needed then Scentsy needs to pour these 6 months before release. I understand not everyone likes strong scents but you shouldn't have to search for the scent that hard & there should be a variety of similar scents in different strengths. The back burner pun was hilarious! 😂 Thanks so much for adding a quick warm review to try & help with your experience.

Ok so i got it today and went ahead and warmed it, i 100% agree it smells like coconut scented oil, like the one someone may use for tanning extremely disappointed 😭

To me tge friends bar smells like OGX Coconut Coffee body cream.

Most popcorn in Movie Theater use Coconut Oil to pop the corn....so that makes sense. I haven't smelled it but I watched a few other reviews and no one seems to like it. Thanks for your review Michelle!
