Scenic New Mexico Highways
Here is a video of two highways that offer scenic views of the New Mexico high desert mesa terrain. The first highway is called the Wagon Mound Highway, route 120 that runs from Wagon Mound to Roy. Turning south at Roy towards Logan, the second segment begins just east of Mosquero as the road drops off of the vast mesa into the valley below. It hard to think of this area as "mountainous" but the elevation at Wagon Mound is over 6300 ft, so it is actually higher than Denver by a thousand feet. I used my old Sony HX1 mounted to a tripod on the passenger side to shoot this. There's a little shake sometimes, but I'll be happy to look back at it and remember the trip. Thanks for watching.

Yes . Agree. You don't want it filled up with turistas though. Part of its wonder is the solitude you can find . Your video has made me plan a road trip. If I get killed by aliens on a lonely road near Roswell , I hope you can handle the guilt
@basicbill1 Bill, Just plug RTN into the King Air's flight computer and sit back. New Mexico is an awesome state. So much scenery and history.
