Here is a bit more information about Reflections Lake Trail:
- Parking is close but across the road from the trail.
- Bathrooms are available at the entrance of the Refuge.
- There is 24 hour video/ camera surveillance.
- There are multiple trails, including a Wetlands trail about half way through the loop.
- Multiple Lake access, look outs, and rest areas with seating provided.
- Friendly people but not really crowded. There was a steady flow of people coming and going.
- Felt safe walking around with my toddler
- The Knik River runs along part of the trail
- There is a boat launch at the entrance/ end of the road to the Knik River
- Free: NO parking fees
- The Lake does have leeches. A couple got on me and my son… but the water was lovely nonetheless.
