hello Sir, I have a question for SCD2 data validation for historic record. select empid,ename,salary,effective date, location from source where loc ='US' minus select empid,ename,salary,effective date, location from target where loc ='US' and active_flag = 'N' source doesn't hold the historic record then how we can validate Target data with Source.

Can a Table have both SCD1 & SCD2 attributes associated with it..! Or Do we maintain seperate Tables for SCD T1~and SCD T2. I mean, Eg: EMP Table has Id, Name, Designation, location, salary. Can we have SCD1 on Designation and SCD2 on Location..?

No seperate table.. Actually it is slowly changing dimension for all the dimensions
