Me toooooooo hugely happy for them. Couples choice was humbling and richly deserve their place. Any other year Rhys may have got through

Fabulous. For me it was the correct choice by the judges. The final will be amazing. My choice for final is third place AJ & Kai, and I seriously can’t choose between J&J and R&G. For first place. My choice is based on their performances all season. Absolutely loved this season, the best yet for me.

Strictly voters seemed to in the past go for the Most improved non dancer throughout the season rather than the best. On that basis I think AJ wins that hands down. Her Latin really wasn't very good but week on week she has got better and tidied those gangly arms and clumsy legs. Rose is likely to win but the public often have interesting reasons for not choosing the best dancer. I never quite understand why. If I had my way I would find 3 glitter balls. They have EACH had stand out dances. None of them is heads and shoulders above the others. Now it's just about the popularity contest. Or the biggest message. By the message I mean a deaf or recognised disability has never won, a a same sex couple have never won, a black woman has never won so whichever it would be a first

@@mercedeswindow5668 I disagree slightly, all three have improved as the show has gone on. Also I feel the choreography by the pros comes into it and with that element, I feel Giovanni and Rose deserve to win. It has been much tougher of a challenge for them with her profound deafness. It’s definitely going to be a tough one and I agree that this year there should be three glitter balls.

chalkie meme I guess the reason I feel the way I do is because I am extremely hard of hearing - since birth and people without deafness often don't understand that I don't require sympathy just consideration. It's healthy to have different opinions as we all have our journey. Of course all the dancers have improved. Goes without saying. I still think AJ has improved the most. but of course it's all subjective and bias. On balance I think I would want to give the trophy to John and Johannes. Not because of the dance but for a message to all the LGBT community out there who will continue to suffer the homophobia regardless. To say I see and hear you. There is a reason they continue to have the highest suicide rates in the Country as well as world wide. As J&J have said it's bigger than them and more than a dance competition for them. Rose definitely has it in the bag already though

I agree although I am not part of the LGBTQ+ community I think it sends a POWERFUL message that is long overdue. This is now the biggest show on television. The contestants SHOULD reflect the community it serves. After all we all pay our TV licenses. This is the most diverse the show has ever been and the standard is through the roof

I know some fans said they feel John should have gone home. I get it. How I look at it is John has been consistent throughout the show. Rhys though he’s been good lately from the beginning there were issues with is frame and his energy level. He has proved when you work hard and have a great teacher you can achieve great performances. I think the decision was correct.

I don't think I would have saved John over Rhys... I think Rhys is better overall and his dance was harder... Not to mention his energy & showmanship, that gives him an edge in my opinion, his & Nancy's energy & charisma are infectious! I love John and Johannes too, the level of talent if super high this season, but an unanymous vote? I don't think that was fair... =/

It was important for johannes make it to the final! I’m so happy even though it will probably will be lackluster due to the winner already known, this still makes history and I’m glad. I love rose but because of what gio did it’s so hard to root for him. Rose deserves better.

@@Jakki12_ watch video. This was a few years ago. Dwts is a franchise of strictly in America. I have little respect for someone copying and claiming it was his idea and even getting an award for it. Gio has a huge ego and fancies himself a god to woman which doesn’t bother me, but this is about integrity. Nyle in the video is deaf, no hearing aid and can’t speak. Rose has a lot of support but the final can always be a surprise as people no longer vote tactically, I hope John can win even if I do think it feels impossible with how much support has (and she does deserve that support, she had been amazing)

Aj was a bit messy in some of her routines. Rose was the weaker of the three because of her Latin dances. It a popularity contest, isn’t it?

Perhaps you should stop and consider why this means so much to Johannes? Why it is that he is crying and what this means? He was terrified of the hate he could receive and yet he and John have made it to the final and thankfully the support has been mostly amazing but as John posted the other day there are still many awful, negative comments that they receive.
