You need to work on the redundancy of your narratives. I lost track of how many times you said "I'm park ranger, an explorer and guardian of secrets, navigator of the unknown etc.". They're overly repetitious.

Overly flowery writing is a red flag of a fake story, invented by a writer. They can't help but to go too far in trying to be impressive with their elaborate poetic descriptions of things, from habit and also ego.

It needed a tweak or two, but I have to admit it was an engaging story. Just had a few redundant phrases, no big deal, they were good phrases in and of themselves. I can tell they worked hard on it. This writer has a lot of potential. Usually ,when I wake up in the morning , I turn off my stories. I didn't turn this one off ! Had to keep listening to see how it ended. Well done! Honestly as a writer, at least you are writing! That is half the battle , just to write.

Fictional, you can tell by the overly flowery language. A good writer creates interesting sentences and descriptions. A great writer, instead, knows how a real person would speak.
