How well do we know our Solar System? What if I tell you there're more than eight planets around here? Have you ever heard about the so-called 'Planet 9'? Let's find out what it is and why scientists claim it exists. What's the evidence of Planet 9 really being out there?

Facts that aren't completely true as this theoretical planet was originally called Planet X as when the discoveries were made Pluto was still classified as a planet.

No, once it passes the event horizon it passes the point of no return, is pulled into the black hole and effectively leaves for parts unknown, but not before then.

only once it gets too close and becomes influences by the gravitational field. Light is included so this is why they are detected by the total absence of any light along with their gravitational influence.
And also for the question: have you ever look outside and counted the stars? My place’s sky: 1 star Me: yes.. yes I have.
Wouldn't the combined mass/gravity of asteroids act like a planet?
@terrabuilder
2 жыл бұрын
It is plausible that the asteroid belt was a planet, and somehow broke up slowly somewhat over the time it took to orbit the sun. Some of its mass was lost over time due to collisions, and became rogues, scattered about in different directions, and threatening other planets. All which means it would rather difficult to estimate what it’s mass was before the breakup. We can only conjecture the time of its breakup as well as its lost mass.

I thought the observable universe had an estimated 1 septillion, a 1 with 24 zeroes, stars. Not a billion-trillion, a 1 with 21 zeroes. Eh, at numbers that large, what's three zeroes?
@AbdulSamad-jr6fi
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are actually right. There are about 70 Septillion stars(70×10^24), and the grains of sand on earth are just about 7 Sextillion(7×10^21). That means there are 10,000 stars for each grain of sand!

We know wayyyy less then 5% of space. And, a lot about ourselfs. If you're talking about psychology then probably less-
4:45 that’s Uranus not Neptune
6:01 Me who has legit 3 stars at night
The Universe has how many stars? 1 followed by 21 zeros is called a Sextillion of which the Earth weighs 6 sextillion, 588 quintillion short tons so although it doesn't hold that many grains of sand... the Earth then by proxy of your limited calculations is in fact heavier, than there are stars in the Universe. Very interesting...

I like about space.
So Space Facts that will do what to me? I try to stay on top of space news and to my knowledge, planet 9 is still a theory and NOT a fact. If the space community had found it,, the news would be going crazy. September 23, 1846 was the last time a planet was discovered. The name.of the planet is Neptune. Pluto could have had this title in February 18, 1930. But considering that its not classified as a planet, Neptune hold that record.
